Answer:	I’d recommend a auxiliary battery. The gps will eat the battery up. Check out this dude on You Tube, Minnesota Dad. He’s a professional outdoorsman, whose very versed in this Casio. I’m learning from him. Try the low power mode also. Hope i helped but the outdoorsman on You Tube will.

Answer:	Yes. All solar watches have batteries, they're just rechargeable (or a capacitor). Otherwise, they'd turn off and reset every time they were in the dark. This watch uses a CTL1616. They're about $20, and last 10 or more years before needing replacement.

Question:	Does this watch receive a time signal in Asia and Europe
Answer:	I had one in Afghanistan that did not. However I just set it for Kabul time ( one of the features) and it stayed accurate for a 8 month deployment. Not sure about Europe.

If you try to randomly get the pin in the hole, it scratches up the plastic to where the pin won't stay in.

Answer:	I just did a 4h bike ride yesterday and the battery is still pretty close to full. Usually I do around a whole week of at least 1:30h GPS use per day and then between 4-6h of GPS use on the weekend with one single charge.
