Answer:	Nothing is added to the fabric in these gloves. The fabric itself rates UPF 50+.
Question:	how to clean these gloves
Answer:	You should hand wash these gloves. I put them in the washing machine and the sticky pads on the fingers started to come off. You could also consider flipping them inside out, but this is not easy to do. I like to wash my clothes, gloves, etc after I purchase and before I wear them. Unfortunately, after the first wash, these gloves looked rather ragged because of the sticky pads coming off. That said, I've washed the gloves since then, and the rest of the sticky pads don't really seem to be peeling off. I was very disappointed given the price of the gloves. I've continued to use the gloves because they are too expensive to simply replace. Also, since I mainly wear them while driving, nobody else really seems them. The gloves work fine and are better than the cotton ones I had before, they just look ragged. That said, because of the hassle for washing these gloves, I would personally prefer if they didn't have the sticky pads. I bought my gloves directly from Coolibar.

Answer:	Does it really say that ?? You made my day! I had my cat inspect one of the ones that I bought - no reaction, and he's an addict. I think this is false advertising because ours I stuffed with what seems to be foam.

Answer:	I haven't had to use this item often enough to wash it yet; we've had a mild winter with not much fog. However, washing a similar product that I'd had for a long time (this was a replacement), removed much of the de-fogging chemical. If it needs washing, I'd say try it. This may be a "new and improved" product, and the price is right.
Question:	Will these work for the summer time? or will it be too warm for it? I have worn regular gloves (not winter ones) in the summer time. Only curious
Answer:	I dispose if the mitt when it gets too dirty. I've tried to wash them in the past, but laundering appears to remove the chemical that does the job. The mitts are re-usable for quite a few times so they're still a pretty good deal IMO.

So, "My" answer to your question is; Unless they(the children) are very big, no these gloves are not for children.

Answer:	They are not designed for use in water, so we cannot say how they would hold up. They are also not tested for UV protection in water, so it could provide less than UPF 50+ when wet.

Answer:	Look for the items marked ZnO fabric. I find this the coolest. They are using different fabric types for diff pieces. ZnO fabrics feel like a smooth bamboo jersey lightweight knit, kind of like thin t shirt material. I find the other fabrics get clingy and dont breathe as well, theyre more a silky/polyester feel. My favorite piece is the Maritis Wrap. I have it in a bunch of colors. It is ZnO and u just throw it over whatever you're wearing and go! I find it the most useful item of all.
Question:	I need a glove thin and snug enough that I can still turn pages with it on. Will these fit the bill
Answer:	My hand measures 71/2 inches and I purchased a medium and they are form fitting and very soft and I wear them under gloves. I have another I purchased a couple of years ago as a L/XL and where them over gloves. The first pair has had much use and has held up well. I have waited a long time for the Coolibar brand to come back to Amazon. The newer pair says they can be tumble dried but I air dry both pairs. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I think this is a US company out of Minneapolis. The product is excellent. I've bought several. Easy to hand wash. They dry fast. I use them everyday. Answer:	I don’t believe they offer exchanges, but they do offer free returns. I returned a medium pair for free. (The fingers were too short, but the rest of the glove fit well.) Then I reordered a large pair.

Answer:	The gloves I received were more of a spandex acrylic blend. Better than nothing in cold weather, but definitely not as warm as wool. When I ordered these, the description said they had a wool lining. Mine did NOT have a wool lining. I contacted the seller and was given a discount for the error in description. The good thing about these is the grips in the palm area that make it easier to grip a steering wheel. The bad thing...not as warm as I had expected.
