Titanium dioxide is from an original natural substance of ilmenite ore. It is used in so many products primarily as a whitener. The primary concern deals with the fact if used as an inhalation such as would occur in face powder or similar products; the other is are the particles nanoparticles. An article in The Guardian says that most toothpastes haven't quantities to qualify as nanoparticles. I did a lot of reading and you may want to refer to that articles of 3-13-14. Answer:	This has a red light that lights up when you push too hard which happens to me from time to time but I never noticed it stopped rotating. If you look at the specs both brushes rotate at the same speed but this one has 40k pulsations pm vs 20k with the 1000 series so the motor is definitely stronger which is why I chose this model over the the 1000

Answer:	This is my 2nd unit, My previous brush which was probably the 1000 was great. I would say that the 1000, 3000 & 5000 are basically the same. The brushes fit all models. I believe that I have the 5000 model although model numbers are not on the brush or stand. It has a type # which is 3757. The brochure that comes with it has all three models printed on the cover. I would have to rate them all as very good products.
