Answer: no. I am not aware of any chemical smell nor did anyone ever mention/complaint about chemical smell.

Answer: We’ve taken these camping on two separate trips now. Just got back from sleeping on them for four nights in a row and they were great! The best camping air matts/pads we’ve had. The quality seems very good so far. Highly recommend.

Answer: Surprisingly good! I usually relegate pads to strictly back sleeping but was actually comfortable sleeping on my side.

Answer: I’ve only used it three times since October & it’s been fine, again they only issue I had with this item was the spaces between the inflated parts. You put your elbow in the wrong place and it hurts lol. But no issues to date regarding durability!

Answer: It is designed to be used with disc brakes. All disc brake wheels have a hollow axle with a skewer that runs through the center. The skewer has a quick release and must be removed to change the wheel. Not as quick as the old style wheels.
