11 best x bikes
X-bikes, also known as cross bikes or cyclocross bikes, are specialized bicycles designed for a specific type of racing and riding known as cyclocross. Here's what you need to know about X-bikes in relation to tubes, tires, cycling, outdoor recreation, and sports outdoors:
Cyclocross Racing: Cyclocross is a type of bicycle racing that involves a combination of off-road terrain, obstacles, and on-road sections.X-bikes are purpose-built for this style of racing, which often takes place in muddy, grassy, and challenging conditions.
Frame Design: X-bike frames are typically lightweight and feature geometry that allows for quick handling and agility. The frames often have a higher bottom bracket to clear obstacles easily.
Tires: X-bike tires are a crucial component. They are wider and knobbier than traditional road bike tires, providing better traction in muddy or loose terrain. Riders may also adjust tire pressure to suit the conditions.
Brakes: X-bikes usually come with cantilever or disc brakes. Disc brakes have become more popular due to their superior stopping power and performance in wet and muddy conditions.
Gearing: Cyclocross courses often include steep climbs and descents. X-bikes typically have a wide range of gears to handle these varying terrains.
Tubular Tires: In competitive cyclocross racing, some riders use tubular tires, which are glued to specially designed rims. Tubular tires offer advantages in terms of lower tire pressure and resistance to pinch flats.
Mounting Points: X-bikes often have mounting points for fenders and racks, making them versatile for commuting or adventure riding in addition to racing.
Mud Clearance: These bikes are designed to prevent mud buildup, with wider clearances between the tires and frame to ensure that the wheels keep turning even in mucky conditions.
Accessories: Riders may customize their X-bikes with accessories such as handlebar tape, saddlebags, and lights to suit their specific needs, whether it's racing, training, or recreational riding.
Events: Cyclocross events are popular in many regions, with races taking place during the fall and winter months. These races often feature a mix of natural obstacles and man-made barriers that riders must dismount and carry their bikes over.
In summary, X-bikes, or cyclocross bikes, are specialized bicycles designed for cyclocross racing, a discipline that involves a mix of terrains and obstacles. They are equipped with features such as knobby tires, disc brakes, and a lightweight frame, making them well-suited for off-road racing and riding. These bikes provide a versatile option for cyclists who enjoy challenging outdoor terrain and want a bike that can handle a variety of conditions.

How to Measure Your Child's Stand-Over Height
- What size bike should I get my child? Easy, the best size bike for your kiddo is the bike that fits them from day one. The best way to do that is measure their inseam.
- Yeah, but what about their age? Age is more like... an approximate fit. Inseam is an exact fit, trust us.
- Okay, got it. What's an inseam? Good question. Inseam is the distance between the ground and crotch.
- So, why is this inseam babble so important? We're all different heights and shapes, even when we're the same age. This is especially true with kids because they grow like crazy. By measuring inseam, you're making sure that your child's bike has the perfect fit.
- Right, how exactly do I measure this? Have your child stand up really straight with with their shoes on and back to a wall. Place a book between their legs and slide it up the wall to meet the crotch seam of their pants, just like they were sitting on a bike saddle. Measure from the top of the book to the floor and.... Bingo ! You have your inseam.

Important note Before changing the tube, Pls check whether have some stones or sharp things that may broke the tube that stay in your tire , if have Pls clean it. When changing your bicycle inner tube ALWAYS be sure to add just a little air to the tube before installing. This gives it form so it doesn't get twisted or bunch up which may cause a pinch flat. Once the new tube is installed and BEFORE fully inflating only add a few PSI to further form the tube. Inspect for an even bead of the tire to the rim on both sides. CONTINUED. . . . . Then, inflate to approximately half the desired PSI and re-inspect the tire bead to the rim again. If even beading all the way around AND on both sides then inflate to the recommended air pressure. This procedure is important because if the bead doesn't hook properly on the rim then as the inner tube is inflated it can sneak out between the tire and rim and go BOOM! Product features
Tube Size
First and foremost, you want to make sure the tube fits your tire. To determine the size you need to check the side wall markings on your tire where you’ll see two numbers separated by an 'X'. The first number refers to the tire’s diameter. The second number refers to the tires width. Select the tube that has the exact same diameter as your tire. Your tires width should fall into the range of widths listed on the tube packaging.
Valve Type
Standard (also called Schrader) valves are the most common valve type for bicycles. This short, sturdy valve is also used on car tires and other inflatables.
Presta valves are typically found on performance road and mountain bikes. They have built-in valve locks which you twist to open before inflating.
An easy way to remember is: 'S' is for Standard (Schrader, Short, Sturdy) and 'P' is for Presta (Performance, Premium).
All inflatable tubes are subject to deflation from mis-installation and certain hazards.
Flat Protection
Finally you’ll need to choose whether to go with a standard or self sealing tube. Standard tubes are fine for most riding conditions. Self sealing tubes have liquid sealant inside that provides an extra layer of flat protection by sealing holes up to 1/8 of an inch instantly while you ride. It doesn’t get much easier than that!

User questions & answers
Question: | Does it fix 20x |
Answer: | this might actually work a bit better than cheap speaker wire...cheap speaker wire look likes a lamp cord with the wire running side-by-side. the really expensive speaker wire has them twisting around each other. the reason is electromagnetic interference. when the wires cross at right angles, the interference between them is at its minimum. so with them twisted around each other, they come closer to that ideal ninety degrees. side-by-side, i.e. parallel, leaves them completely open to cross-talk. for most people, you'll never notice the difference. but the longer the cable, the more time there is for the signals to affect each other. now, the reason i say this might be better than regular speaker cable is, 1) it might be a higher gauge than the cheap stuff, and 2) there is a built in ground wire that the other two wires twist around. you can either leave the ground wire unconnected, and the twist will still be better than parallel... or even better: ground that wire to the chassis of your stereo somehow. that'll absorb the cross-talk even more.some have mentioned that 16 gauge might not be the best size for 100 feet. but that's only true if you're using it on an EXTREMELY high wattage stereo. if you're using it on any normal stereo, this will work fine. it can handle up to 1,600 watts or so.also don't listen to the guys that tell you you'll lose too much voltage at 100 feet. 16 gauge stranded wire only has about 4 ohms of resistance per THOUSAND feet. |
Question: | Will these work in a 30mm rim |
Answer: | Yes. This is really better cord than you usual orange cord I used to buy. As with all cord if it is twisted (to coil it) then it kind of stays in a coiled position but once you stretch it out it unwinds. Nothing permanent occurs. I have had much less problem with this cord tangling as well. It is just a little better quality. |
Question: | I just bought these. there seems to be a lot of slack when i put tube in tire. tiresays 700x25. does the fact these say”race” make them different |
Answer: | I love my electric mower after a year and a half, have two small kids, and do not miss the back pain from starting a gas mower (or the smell). 100 ft is a good size, depending on where your outlet is. I use the one in our garage and this works well. Kind of like vacuuming except, you cannot suck up your cord 😂 did that once... $20 mistake, mower just stopped. After the cord management learning curve was done, been great. |
Question: | I needed 700-23. when i put these on there's all this slack. it says it covers 20 to 25. do i just inflate with that slack? help |
Answer: | no. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is the wheel EXACTLY like the wheel in the picture |
Answer: | I bought the rubber tire, and it is exactly as pictured, with the large, knobby bumps. It rides very smoothly, and I like the way it feels when riding; However, you mentioned the wheel, (the metal rim & spokes), and that is not part of the tire listed for sale. (Tire, Yes / Wheel, No) |
Question: | I got this tire today but how do I tell which way the tire face is towards the front of the bike and there's no arrow on the sidewall telling me nothi |
Answer: | I have the 'V' facing forward on the top. To me, as the tire roles forward, the narrow part of the 'V' hits the water, etc., first, pushing the water out to the side as the 'V' get wider. Both my cars have similar 'V' pattern and they were mounted that way by the tire shop(s). So either everything I ride/drive is either 100% wrong or 100% right. Hope this helps. |
Question: | What is the air pressure range for this tire |
Answer: | It says 35 psi on my tires. |
Question: | How would these tires do with a 50cc motorized bike |
Answer: | I have been riding motorized bikes for twelve years. Yes I make them too. I use these tires and get 700 miles of use on the rear tire and 1500 on the front tire. I suggest you use a good self sealing inner tube. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do you have the 20x4 tubes also |
Answer: | The 20 X 4.0 should be available by July 2021. |
Question: | has anyone tried this on a 26 x 5" tyre |
Answer: | No |
Question: | will this replace a 20 x 4.20 tube |
Answer: | Sorry... no, this will not replace the 20 |
Question: | Who makes these tubes? What is the thickness? Also, are they thorn resistant |
Answer: | These are made in china by a company with a brand called RoadUp. They are heavy and thicker than most. Thorn resistance... honestly, the tire is the first defense against any object penetrating the tube. You can put sealant in the tube if you want. If you don’t like our product just let me know and i will take care of you. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the correct tube size for 28" X13/8' X15/8" tube |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | This is what i see on my tire 700 x 28c or 28-622, does this tube fits my bike tire or not?? Thanks for your help |
Answer: | It's a heavy cord but there is no reason it won't work for a laptop unless you want a more flexible cord. |
Question: | My wheel is 28 by 1.50 700c will this tube work |
Answer: | The specs are listed under "technical details". It is basically flat against the wall. The pictures on the listing show exactly how it is installed. I have a couch pushed against mine. Before I installed this anytime the couch shifted it would knock the lamps that were plugged in out of the sockets. Those plugs were also doing some damage to the back of my couch. I got a new couch and didn't want to risk any damage. These do a perfect job and end up providing you with an additional outlet. |
Question: | My bike has 32-622 tires (700 x 32c - 28 x 1 5/8 x 1 1/4) what tube do I need |
