Our Patented Heavy Duty Adult training wheels are the strongest and most durable bike training wheel kit on the market. They are made of tubular steel much like the frame of the bike. They do not attach to the axle which is a weak mounting point. They mount to the rear chain and seat stays on either side of the bicycle frame using special plastic coated u-bolts. Answer:	I have purchased three of these bikes for my grandchildren. The youngest who is 2 can reach the pedals when the seat is in the forward most position but hasn't quite mastered pedaling. He uses his feet to push himself along and occasionally practices trying to pedal. The oldest of the grands that has this bike is 5 and fits perfect with the seat set the furthest back and she rides it around like a speed demon with plenty of room to extend her legs far enough to pedal. This is a great bike and totally worth every penny I spent on them. The seat position is very easy to adjust so I purchased the third one to keep at my house, grandmas, for when the grands are here on the weekends. On a scale of 1-5 I would definitely give this bike a 5 plus.

Answer:	Yes it's the exact same scooter that Bird originally used (1st generation). My brother use to be a Bird mechanic and charger and he bought this exact same scooter back in 2018. There are two differences between this one and Birds. Bird cuts the pole right before the folding mechanism and replaced the hinge with a rigid collar. Bird also removed the original blue tooth dashboard/circuit board on the top and replaced it with their own brain. There are two speed modes...Normal 15.5 mph and economy 12.5 mph. Bird only used the faster Normal mode.

Question:	Does the radioflyer footrest (found on their website) fit this model? the site says the footrest fits model 816x but doesn't list 816z
Answer:	I just called and the foot rest on radioflyer.com DOES fit this model (816). The only difference between 816 and 816X is the way it's packaged.

Answer:	I was not successful in doing so. I tried several times to do as you tried to do without success. No way could I three leveled together. In its recommended configeration I couldn't complete turns within an acceptional radius without crashing into the curb. The kit is hanging in my garage collecting dust. Thinking I might try making a garden cart from the pieces. Would appreciate any design ideas.
Question:	Does this bike have pedals
Answer:	Maybe - but in my experience, no one ever learned to ride a bike until the training wheels came off. OR - the way I teach kids these days: 1) Drop your seat post down til you can sit on the seat with your feet flat on the ground. If your frame is too tall to allow this, borrow a shorter-framed bike, you'll only need it for a few days 2) remove the pedals. remember - left pedal is reverse thread - clockwise to loosen. 3) sit on the seat and just walk the bike up and down the block. Every now and then, pick up your feet and coast - put your feet back down if you wobble. Once you get to where you can coast a couple blocks down a slight downhill with your feet up, put the pedals back on, and ride. You'll eventually want to raise your saddle up a bit at a time to achieve proper leg extension - but that's a later lesson.
