Answer:	Make the beard hot and wet, shower is good for this part. This softens hair, allows soap to sink in, and opens pores.Then apply a rich lather of shaving soap with a shaving brush using circular motion so no spots are missed.Shave. Don't press too hard. Use safety razor with appropriate level of aggression. About the aggression level, Rockwell on Kickstarter had two razors of interest. One with a set of different bottom plates (which other brands usually sell separately), and even a razor with a twist to adjust. If you already have a razor, there may be different bottom plates you can order from a spare razor parts dealer if you want to try something milder or grabber (depends on hair thickness and skin sensitivity). In the shower I only foam up part of face at a time and shave before foaming the rest but that's just my preference.After shaving rinse with cold water, it closes the pores. Pat dry with a dry towel ( rubbing towel irritates the skin and hair stumps ).Apply if chosen an after shaving skin treatment which I don't know a lot about. Research separately. However, I do after shaving wash with Benzac AC wash, which is a good antiseptic wash which unclogs pores and kills bacteria (acne and folliculitis gone - previously a problem). It's more expensive than the rest but is most effective if needed. Wet face apply rub 30 sec later rinse off, daily if necessary. Anyone with staph infection, or prone to abcesses, do use. For other areas, rinse, apply microshield 2 (chlorohexamine 2%), rinse after 30 seconds. Probably every 2-3 days as necessary. Hopefully these two things are only needed temporary. Possibly not tested for long term use. For regular after shave, google, or just use after shave balm which soothes shave burnt skin, moistures skin, not dries like cologne or other high alcohol content or strong anti bacterials. Answer:	I've only tried the Astra SS from this sampler pack, and a Merkur that came with my Merkur razor. I cut myself a few times with the Merkur, but not with the Astra SS. Might be that I'm improving my technique, but I'll avoid the Merkur in the future. My comment is that I SEEM to get a better shave (less burn / rash) using shaving soap than with the creams. Soaps take me longer to work into a lather, but they SEEM to protect my skin better. I'm using a sampler (4) pack of Col Conk soaps bought here on Amazon. The cream I've tried was the $$$ cream from The Art Of Shaving from a local mall. If you get a rash from creams, you might want to try shaving soaps.

Answer:	We used this bubble machine at a family picnic and the kids from 3 to 12 loved it. We had to refill it twice. I am sure younger children would love it even more !
