They are listed as "Mountain Bike MTB," etc. They are padded, and the palm leather seems sturdy. But the back fabric is thin polyester. They will snag and abrade, if they come into contact with rough surfaces (the ground) or objects (branches, etc). Really, these are better understood as full-finger road gloves. 2. The boildeg gloves are full finger, closed-back and lightweight, which means their best use is to shield against sun and some breeze. These are not insulating gloves. They are not wind or water resistant. They would be warmer than half-finger, not as warm as insulated, etc. Of course, this depends on the weather in your area, but for the upper midwest US... they are fine for the three mild/hot seasons (late spring, summer, early fall)... but they are not designed for the three chilly/cold seasons (late fall, winter, early spring). 3. The boildeg gloves have padding specific to use on bike handlebars. That makes them better for biking, but also much more expensive, compared to cheap padded work gloves.

Answer:	if it's any help I bought 3 pairs of thee types of pants form amazon and only these fit true to size, I know the 40w-31L fit like they were supposed to and I would assume the others would too these have some stretch to them and elastic waist so there is some wiggle room
