I live in Arizona our Winters are very mild. There are morning rides with the wind chill factor to be near 42-48 degrees. I would rate this garment perfect for that temperature range while wearing a conventional jersey underneath. With a cold weather rated base layer perhaps I could ride in colder temps but that's not likely here in the lower desert region. I hope this was of some help to you.

Answer:	My husband is 6'1" and about 230 - if you weight is around your middle, it may be too tight. He is big around the middle, and it fits just right. It couldn't be any tighter.
