Question:	Do the bikes sway from side to side
Answer:	Hello, it seems that it could due to the areas where there are open sections or holes for adjusting the stand which could allow water to seep inside and rust. It does have a good, thick coating on the outside, but again, it has some areas where water could access. You may be able to maybe use electrical tape to cover those areas once the stand is adjusted for you, just a suggestion. Hope that helps

Question:	Can someone who bought this please briefly describe the installation for this mount
Answer:	Yes. It will work with any pedal except no pedal.

Answer:	Yes it will. You have to make sure that the wheel shelves are not mounted too high, that way the pedal will stay in contact and parallel to the legs.
Question:	Does someone with this rack think it would keep the bike on the wall during a strong earthquake? Love this concept but curious if it's safe
Answer:	The distance between the holes really should be closer together or staggered. A stud is 1 1/2" and the mounting holes are 1" apart so there isn't much room for error when mounting to a stud covered over with drywall. I pre-drilled holes at an angle and used different screws because the supplied ones snapped. Other than that, I'm happy with the product.

Question:	Can you mount this through sheet-rock and to the wall stud
Answer:	Mine is mounted approx at head height for me which is about 5'11 and then my 26 inch bike has about 4 inches from the floor to back tire. Now the rack above will be hard to reach so you might want to go down approx 3-4 inches so the top rack will be easier to put things on top of.
Question:	Could you tell me what the maximum widthand depth of the 2 hooks is? Would for example a piece of wooden dowling that is 1.75 inches be able to fit
Answer:	You can add this as high as your garage will allow you.

Answer:	Tire marks are going to be on the wall! I thought about getting some contact paper or think metal but figured it wasn’t worth the trouble.

Answer:	The brackets mount to the studs and the bar with the bike hooks can slide left or right. No issues with not being able to stud mount the brackets.

Answer:	It fits mine - 700c hybrid with 3/4 inch to spare

Answer:	It fits mine with 3/4 inch to spare - Gary Fisher Nirvana with 700c hybrid tires.
Question:	Do the bikes just lean on the metal bar to stay standing or does the tray keep them upright
Answer:	Both tray and vertical slots keep them upright. All my bikes (26 and 28 inch tire diameter, road and mountain style tires) will stand upright on their own in the rack. I do alternate front and back to accommodate the handlebars.
Question:	Will it work with 4” wide fat tire bikes
Answer:	Possibly - but will be tight. The space for the tires are exactly 4" wide. The spacing between bikes is about 6", so the bikes will be very close together. We have 4 x 2" tire bikes and we have to alternate them front to back to fit in the rack.

It's cheap metal, will not hold bike upright when you have a rider on (like when you want to use it to adjust highway pegs) and the rubber feet are made of hard rubber instead of soft rubber that will grab the garage floor so you can actually drive right up into it. SAVE YOUR $$$ and pay a little more for a higher quality wheel chock!

Question:	Is the hook big enough to hold a fat tire bike
Answer:	They adjust-out to around 325mm from the wall and around 300 mm apart at full extension. I modified mine to hold the bike at around 250mm from the wall and around 400mm apart. It holds the bike securely.
Question:	What is the maximum tire width I can store
Answer:	To deal with the weight you could probably use lag bolts to secure the rack to the wall that are a little bigger than the lag screws that come with the bike rack. A bigger concern for me would be balancing the length of a tandem bicycle on a single rack, especially if the bike will be several feet from the floor. I don’t have any experience with a tandem but think that I would use two of these racks.

Answer:	I don't think so, beware I would only now buy for newer lighter bikes because those rubber ends don't stay attached and always slide off.
Question:	looks like screw holes are spaced too far apart to have all four contact wall studs
Answer:	That shouldn't be a problem honestly. Mine ways about 20 and it doesn't even phase the rack. If you mount to a stud, you should be OK. It comes with pretty monstrous screws for mounting. I just checked their website and the load capacity is 70 pounds. I really like mine.
