Question:	How far apart do these need to be spaced
Answer:	Yes, it can adjust to land on the studs.
Question:	The hooks just fall down how are you supposed to get your bike in the hooks
Answer:	I installed mine approximately 6 ft 8 inches off the ground. This allowed for me to use space below the bikes and still able to get them down without much of a problem. I am a 60 year old, female and I was able to install it by myself and add and take off bikes.

Question:	The mtb's stated range is 43-62mm, has anyone tried it with 700x45c tires? if so, did it feel loose, since it's at the lower end of the range
Answer:	I can't address this directly since I;ve got 700x35 tires -- but I got the "hybrid" CLUG which is rated for 33-42mm tires so I'm also at the lower end of the range. There's a no wobble, as the thing expands to accept the tire and then closes around it. But there's a bit of slop in how the rest of the bike sits on the ground. I've had it for more than six months now and have never had a problem mounting the bike.
Question:	Does it need to screw into the wall studs to hold the bike vs. the dry wall
Answer:	The instructions say not to use it in drywall... only wooden stud, brick, or concrete. There's not much force on it when the bike is hanging there, but if you have thick tires, it seems like it puts a lot of force on the screws when pulling the bike out of the clip.
Question:	What size drill bit is required for the pilot hole? and size of the anchor
Answer:	I do not recall which size drill bit I used be cause I simply used a bit smaller in diameter than the screw. This method was sufficient for me to screw it into a wall. The main concern is what kind of wall or surface you plan to screw into.
Question:	will the friction of install/removal eventually wear on the sidewall of tires? (at least points of install are random
Answer:	I've had it for a year, haven't noticed any wear on my tires. I would hope you wear your tires out from riding before the sidewalls from the friction of pulling the bike in and out of the clug.

Step 1: Do you have the right Clug?

If you haven’t already, you’ll need to check that the Clug you got is the right size for your tire.

As a handy guide, we also put the maximum and minimum sizes for each Clug right on the side of the box. Just hold it up to your tire and check to see that it is within the range.

Note: Clug is a tiny bike rack that works with your floor to store your bike. Clug can't Hang your bike, it doesn't work that way and you might hurt your back trying. We wouldn't want that.

Step 2: Location and Alignment

Time to figure out where your Clug is going. Once you’ve found your section of the wall, you can use the alignment guide on the box to get your hole spacing marked precisely.

Holding your bike in the position you want it (you can get a friend to help here), you’ll want to align the position of your Clug with the centre of your wheel, where the tire touches the wall.

Step 3: Drills, Holes, and Anchors

You’ll need to drill some holes if you are putting Clug on anything other than wood surface (or a stud in the wall). To drill, just stick your template lightly to the wall and drill right through the guide.

If you drilled holes, insert the anchors from your box into the holes to give you something to screw into.

Step 4: Screws, Clip, and Grip

Separate the Clipper from the Gripper and screw the Clipper into the wall.

You’ll be able to make small adjustments before you tighten the screws fully, to make sure that your Clug is level.

Snap the Gripper in to cover the screw heads, and you’re ready to Clug!

Answer:	Yes, you just need to make sure you have installed into a stud. If that is not optimal you could affix a piece of board to the wall (through two studs) and hang the rack anywhere on that board, this is what I did.

Answer:	No the wheel asborbs the weight based on the angle of the hanger. I got mine last summer and I love it. Easy to hang the bike and in my opinion excellent engineering. Well worth the money.

Answer:	Yes, using concrete screws anchors. You will need to drill into the wall using the appropriate drill and then put a contrete anchor into the hole to accept the screw. Not that complicated.

Answer:	The anchors that came with it would only hold about 20lbs. I bought some different anchors to hold more weight.

Answer:	No, the hook cannot be changed to the other direction.

Answer:	Don’t know about that specific weight but I have a large mountain bike that has 29” wheels and it works fine. It comes with 4 screws to attach it to the wall. I attached my screws to the wall stud. I believe that if you do that it should be ok. Hope this helps.

Question:	Will it work with crankbrothers eggbeaters pedals
Answer:	All of the FastTrack stuff hooks on a black rail -- essentially a plastic sheath covering a long piece of steel. If you install THAT well, it should hold a wheelbarrow.Conveniently, the steel track has holes so you can screw it right into the wall studs. This assumes, of course, that the holes happen to line up just right, which they almost certainly won't; don't be afraid to drill your own holes to get the screw right in the middle of the stud. You'll also need some anchors: the ones that Rubbermaid sells are worthless, so I bought some molly bolts from Home Depot instead.Anyway, I'm probably making this sound a lot harder than it is; I promise you can do this even if you don't happen to host your own home improvement show on TV. I'm a big fan of FastTrack. Once you get the rails installed, arranging and rearranging the hooks is painless. As for weight, I've got a 28' collapsible ladder on mine, another fiberglass ladder hanging right next to it, along with assorted tools... so far, so good : )
Question:	What is the distance between the holes on the peddle mount portion? Seems to me for mounting to a stud you would want them vertical, not horizontal
