Pictures that are hard to see and don't look like what I had in front of me. With each step that I finally figured out I kept running into another that I had problems with. Find somebody who has assembled bikes before and hope he has patience. The rear brakes took about 3 hours to get working. What a pain. I am sorry for you.

Answer:	The front forks have compression shocks but I really can't compress them so I don't know how effective they would be on road bumps and potholes. There is no rear suspension other than the springs in the seat, much like every bicycle seat I have ever seen (other than racing seats).

But stop!

The first question is: do you have the money to spend on the project? In round figures, if you’re paying a normal price for a bike in ‘needing restoration’ condition, by the time you’ve finished, expect to spend 10-20 times the initial purchase price. Really? That much? It sounds ludicrous, but if you want to do a really good job, yes, it will cost that much.

Having worked as a teacher, writer, editor and photographer, his varied career has included editing a national automotive magazine, and writing for various online and print magazines for many years.

An enthusiast for all things mechanical and electronic, Julian is a hands-on car modifier, working from his own well-equipped home workshop.

He has written several books about car modifications, aerodynamics and electronics, as well as more general interest books about engineering and this one about small-wheeled bicycles.

Answer:	The back of the tricycle holds the basket with (4) metal straps and bolts that can be secured to the rear frame of the tricycle; I am sure it can hold a baby seat if it is installed and bolted to the frame correctly; however I personally would NOT recommend to install a baby seat and carry a baby as it would be really close to the rear tires of the tricycle. This can be very dangerous for a baby or toddler. I hope this answers your question.
