Answer:	The wires are color coded so just place red to red. You don't need four batteries. One 1000w battery pack will work. It must be a 1000w battery.
Question:	How wide does the rear triangle need to be to fit the hub? I have a narrow single-speed bike and am worried from reviews it won't fit
Answer:	Great Question! The quick answer is the rear triangle needs to be much wider than a single speed. I have installed this kit on 2 different multi-speed bikes and had to widen the triangle on each one. I don't have specific measurements to give you but you will need to cold form the triangle to fit the hub. It is not hard to do if you are handy with tools. Other questions you need to ask are... Brakes. If you have a single speed with a coaster brake, Forget it. You will need to get a caliper type break kit (and a good one at that). Second is you are going to have a multi gear rear wheel with no derailier. Adjusting the chain so it stays on is going to be difficult at best. you could swap out the multi gear freewheel for a single speed but that will open up more problems and not solve the braking problem.My quick advice to you if you want to build one of these is to find a different bike. you will probably have to modify that as well but not as drastically. These things are a blast but you want to make sure you have a safe and solid set up.I hope this helps. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Answer:	Buy the best battery that you can afford. I also recommend that you go with the Lithium battery option and buy the largest Amp Hour (ah) rating that you can afford. The higher the ah the longer the range. You can find many options on Ebay but beware and carefully read about what exactly you are buying and where it comes from. After a lot of research I purchased my 48v (52v at full capacity) 20 ah battery pack from calibike.com as well. He met all the criteria that I was looking for including... Excellent price. The price included a top quality charger. Excellent built quality including the Battery Management System (BMS). He is located in the USA. I received my battery in less than a week. If you buy from over seas / China it can take a month or more to receive your order. I spoke to Calibike extensively via email and by phone before making my purchase. The owner was very happy to answer any and all my questions and was very prompt with replying. Take note of his recommendation on what size and type of fuse to get (the fuse set up with the kit is rubbish and you will soon be replacing it).That said, Also consider and plan for how you will carry/ attach the battery pack and ESC to your bike. The bag that comes with the kit is of poor quality and does not attach very securely nor will it last very long. As you are no doubt finding out the batteries cost more than the kit itself. Protect your investment.

Answer:	It is 1500watts right out of the box. There are 2 blue wires, they only connect to each other, and if you connect them, it reduces the power to 750w, I think I previously said 250w, but that was a mistake, it's 750. I'm not sure what you mean by 34.

Answer:	No. The rim is a 26" rim and won't fit a 24" bike.

Answer:	Unfortunately, I have the same issue. If you want a display, you'll likely have to order a new Control Module, the LCD Display and if you have a twist throttle that has battery lights, you need to also order a thumb Throttle or Twist Throttle without Battery lights. This is a pain, since this kit comes with the pedal assist sensor & implies that it is usable, when in reality, when I hooked it up, every time I begin to pedal (even a little bit) it applies a full burst of power. This means that only with a Display Meter are you able to regulate the amount of pedal assist. Had this been made clear in the description, I would have ordered a kit that included the Display Meter.

Answer:	I agree that you should check to make sure the tire/rim are installed correctly. Does the tire/rim spin easily when not being powered? Try suspending the tire/rim and spin it by hand and with power. It might be possible that the motor has bearing issues, but I am only guessing.

Answer:	I don’t see why not, as long as it meets your motors needs.
Question:	Can I install this in the rear instead of the front
Answer:	NO, you cannot. This is because you can not attach a sprocket/gears with which to hook up the chain to the pedal. That said, however, you "could" get away with doing so as long as you build your bike as a "scooter" - i.e., no pedals, no cycling. :) This means that you'll have to run it off the throttle ALL the time, thus requiring a battery with higher Amps *capacity" if you want to go farther/longer than. One other issue you will also need to double-check is the width of the hub to make sure it will span the wider rear drop-down gap. I bought this to build a bike for my sister's 6'3" boyfriend so I don't have it here to check for you. He was AMAZED by how powerful it is. I designed it with a 48V, 13.5Amp battery.
Question:	How many amps is the controller rated for
Answer:	Most controller units are rated at 20 amps. There are after market units that can be higher after fudging them but, why would you want to? 20 amps is the standard and higher amps brings you into the fire hazard zone...just be sure to put an in-line 20 amp fuse between the controller and your battery and you avoid burning stuff up. Answer:	Hello Jeremy, the Voilamart 26" has a "direct-drive" motor so the motor turns at the same rpm as the wheel. There are no gears in this wheel to reduce a high rpm motor down to the rpm of the wheel. The "direct-drive" hub is quieter, more efficient, and there are no gears to wear out. the trade-off is that the direct-drive hub is a bit larger and heavier than the gear reduction type hub.
