Answer:	No, that's not accurate. There's two parts to this strap. The wide part, that is about 34" from tip to tip, and then there is the narrow strap part that you can adjust the overall length of the strap. If you make it as short as possible it looks to be about 41" from hole to hole. If you want to use this strap at 33" you would need to use only the wide part. Take off the second narrow strap extension (which is easy to do). But you would have to punch a hole into one end of the wide strap and make it 33" between the holes. It is a great strap that doesn't slip at all on your shoulders.
