Answer:	It will work with SRAM 12 speed and Ultegra 11 speed (I have used it on both). I would be shocked if it wouldn't work with my [sadly long gone] 6 speed bike from 1983. Chain widths have changed a little, but the brushes are not a fine tuned implement - they just slather the metal bits.

Answer:	I would think that a dummy hub would work. All you really need is an ability to keep the bike stationary roll rotating the chain, keeping the chain parallel to the ground. if you tilt the chain, the fluid starts pouring out of the device. I use my bike stand, and then pedal the bike backward.

Answer:	I had an earlier version and I would say the major difference is the 5.3 version is made of sturdier material, less brittle plastic. Also the clips that hold it in place seem to be more firmly attached. The handle on this version can be attached to either side as well. I think that is to accommodate e-bikes, where the chain is run in the opposite direction for cleaning compared to road bikes.

Question:	Why is 8 oz cheaper than 4 oz
Answer:	Because they are paying you to help them avoid storage costs. Sort of like negative oil prices. Or more like exactly negative oil prices.

Answer:	It hasn't bothered my tires, I wipe excess off, if I could afford a carbon fiber bike I would know the answer to that question
Question:	How do you use this? I’m new to bikes
Answer:	Put your bike in a stand so you can spin backwards. Protect the floor(you are going to be dripping dirty oil). Back pedal (by hand), and slowly drip Finish Line onto the chain while it is running. Do this until the entire chain looks wet. Then keep running for a bit longer to work the oil in. Then, using a rag or paper towel, gently grab the chain while still pedaling backwards by hand. Watch that you do not get the rag caught up in the sprockets. Do not get your fingers caught up in the sprockets, or any other body part. It will hurt. Consider nitryl gloves, as chain dirt is really dirty. I usually repeat this 3 times every 100 miles. It will save your chain. Change out your chain when it reaches 1/8" (3mm) stretch to save your sprockets. Watch utube videos on chain cleaning and bike maintenance. Keep up on it and your bike will last 30 or 40 years or more.
Question:	For a recreational cyclist, is this or the Finish Line dry lube better
Answer:	This stuff is the thin liquid oil that flashes out some dirt and then stays on the chain to lubricate it. It will remain on the chain even after some water gets on it as oil repels water. Dry lube is different. To use dry lube first you must clean the chain. Then apply dry lube. Dry lube does not last as long and does not resist water But it also does not attract dirt lie oil does. If you clean the cain every 100 miles or every week and there is no rain, dry lube is good. This 1-step is for those wanting to get the job done and not mess with their chain so often. Most cyclists would have 2 or 4 different kinds of chain lube and use one when they are in a hurry (this one is good for that) and another for when they have 30 minutes or an hour to do a full de-grease and tooth-brush cleaning and lube.

Answer:	I don't think so. You need some slack in the chain to thread it through the cleaner's curved parhway.

Answer:	You have to gently pry the walls out a little to release the brush axles. I would probably use some needle-nose pliers to spread the body, but be careful or you will break it.

Answer:	Instead of those silly little bottles, buy orange cleaner by the gallon or five gallon. It's an excellent degreaser and unlike alkaline decreases, it doesn't promote rust.

Answer:	I don't know why they asked me. I didn't buy the degreaser.
Question:	Can I use the degreaser for the Shifters mechanism
Answer:	It seems to do that to a degree but it really makes a mess on my chain. I use a different brand wet lub for rainy conditions and that causes some build up on the chain and pulleys but the WD40 lub is much worse and difficult to clean off.
Question:	Does anyone know if the All-Conditions Lube work to repel water
Answer:	A rusted bike chain should be replaced. It is beyond maintenance/serviceability and may accelerate wear on other parts of your drivetrain.

Answer:	Depends on the size of the bubbles. Have to use a European sparkling water, like Pellegrino. Actually ends up tasting more like Orangina. Especially effective for cleaning out your inside tubes, although you do have to put up with a certain amount of dripping from your bottom bracket while it's working.

Answer:	My husband used it and this is his response. "One bottle goes a long way since it is diluted directly 1:8 in a pump sprayer. It took 2 sprays to kill unwanted growth from a Live Oak, probably due to the amount of rain we get almost everyday. You could probably use a garden hose with a sprayer attachment but I don't feel you have as much control. We were able to direct the spray on the unwanted growth and save my other plants nearby."

Answer:	It may, it depends on how established and rampant the problem is. I bought a home with it a few years years worth of growth on it and tried the Bayer with no success. I had to use this: Triclopyr 4E Herbicide 1 Gallon - Replaces Remedy Ultra. It is expensive, but it killed it off where I sprayed two applications (over the course of a month). Ivy is very resilient, so unless you kill all of it, it will slowly creep back in. If you want to try the bayer first because it is inexpensive, I would use it just about undiluted and use a agent like bonide to ensure it sticks.

Answer:	I received one "8" ounce bottle. The oil is one of the best massage oils I've ever used. Smells fabulous too.

Answer:	I don't know if they will kill anything. I cut down a plum tree to about a 4 foot stump and drove several of these copper nails into it. Waited for a couple months. No effect at all. Stump began to grow new branches. Then drilled some holes into it and used a liquid stump killer - no effect. Recently used some Roundup on the new leaves it began to grow - finally looks like it's dying.
Question:	This pic says it’s 23 oz on the can but the description of the product says 14 oz. What is the size
Answer:	It probably won't work just like the nails don't work
Question:	Is this product safe on carbon fiber
Answer:	How old is the stump? How tall? What kind of wood is it? What kind of climate do you live in? For a 3" to 6" diameter stump, 5" to 7" tall, 1 year since cutting, and with stump killer applied as soon as it was cut, I drill two 1/2" holes, pour 1 Tablespoon of KNO3 into each hole, and 1/2 cup water GENTLY into both holes. The stumps begin to rot in a week, and are soft enough to easily remove with a grubbing hoe within 1 or 2 months. If you live in a dry climate, it can take much longer. Here in Florida, it's very warm & humid. I hope that helps! David

Answer:	I have them in dead elm stumps. The process of copper deterioration should work in any wood. Also put the stump rot powder in drilled holes for a double whammy. Will burn them with a mixture of diesel and charcoal lighter soaked in before winter.

Answer:	Speeds up the decaying process until stump is gone. I've found if you drill a few holes into the stump and then pour it in the holes it speeds everything up. Still a couple weeks before it's gone.

Answer:	You're better off digging it out or making black powder with the potassium nitrate. Using this stuff to get rid of a stump takes forever.

Question:	What parts cant be washed, what should be covered and wrapped? I can use a regular rag to clean off
Answer:	Oh yeah! It will blow the grease out of the cassette and chain while attached to the bike. This stuff works so fast you won't believe it. I really like using it. Now the bad side, the grease has to go somewhere on its way out and that's on the spokes and rim if you're not careful with your aim. So you could end up with a little more work with a great looking chain. The other down side is the high pressure can empties fast so pace yourself.
Question:	Is it ok to wipe it up with a rag? Or do I need to rinse after the application
Answer:	no, this cleans the chain very well, but does not lube it (there is no such product). You'll need to apply lube after cleaning the chain.
Question:	Can this cleaner be sprayed on brake disks
Answer:	I don’t know, I use it to clean my tea machine, which is stainless steel. I would ask a pet store, so you don’t kill the fish.

Answer:	The potassium nitrate is granulated. Particles a little smaller than granulated sugar. It milled into a fine powder in just a couple hours. It made good BP.
