Answer:	I think it depends on how long a pipe you have and the pitch of the pipe. I have a 30 ft almost level drain from my kitchen sink. I had a very slow drain but it was many feet past the trap so the blockage did not backup the water quickly. I tried 4 applications of Green Gobbler over 2 days (yes I used hot water, 30 minute soak, overnight soak, boiling water, etc) and it did not work. I will try the Green main line stuff, and the bio-clean. Hope something works.

Answer:	My disposal was clogged up when it quit working and the water was also backed up in my dishwasher. I ordered some more Green Gobbler with the 2 spouts and used one in my disposal, waited 15 minutes +, then poured a pan of hot water in it again about 15 or so minutes. It just sat there and didn't go down, but the next morning it was down. I poured another pan of hot water in and the clog was gone. Had to dip out my dishwasher, but then everything worked well. BTW, I wouldn't recommend standing over the sink after pouring in the hot water, because it does fume some.

Question:	Will it work on clog that is several feet past the trap in shower
Answer:	At least in my bathroom sink, it was a disaster. This product dissolved something and the pvc pipe detached from the pipe under the sink causing a leak that damaged everything I had inside the cabinet and the hair was still in there. I had a clogged sink and now I have a useless sink because I have to find a plumber to fix the pipes. Thankfully I have two more bathrooms with sinks that I can use. Take the risk if you want, I'm not using it never again.

Answer:	No. If you are having a drain problem, check that your filter is clean and reduce the amount of detergent you use. Don’t use gel packs, use a powder or gel that you can dispense in small amounts...less is better. Maybe a tablespoon or two at most. But clean the filter too and do it regularly. If you still have an issue, then you likely have a problem with the plumbing or with the machine itself and you will need to get a professional in.

Answer:	My dishwasher is a different model, but the hose end and the elbow look prety standard to me. I doubt Whirlpool would require different hoses for different models.

Answer:	Even stainless will start to corrode over time, especially if you have hard water. Stainless might (?) also be more likely to be subject to internal calcium/scale build up. However, if the stainless part of the hose was simply the outer covering (braided) for burst resistance, with an internal layer of let's say flexible plastic, then scale build up might not be as significant. I use stainless metal braided flex supply lines for sinks, toilets, etc... It's been a few years since I installed this red Whirlpool rubber hose on our new dishwasher. Chose it after reading reviews etc... and am happy to say it's strong, appears well made, and I've not had any leaks or other issues. Btw, I'm not a plumber, just a handy homeowner.

Answer:	I found a website that says the main ingredient is Sodium Bisulfate, Anhydrous Globular (NaH8O4) . I was hoping for scum-eating bacteria. Anyway, all biodegradable. I'm a little skeptical about a reviewer's understanding when they parrotted the company line "Green Gobbler's active ingredient acts as an emulsifier to liquefy solids" which sounds like gobbledygook to me, the daughter of a chemist. Sodium Bisulfate is acidic, so that's why instructions are to keep it off metal surfaces and why it apparently also etches into porcelain products. I would wear rubber gloves when working with it.

Answer:	Liquid-Plumr probably can be used in the clothes washer drain. That's the drain, not the clothes washer itself. You'd have pour some Liquid-Plumr into the place where the discharge water that comes out of the washing machine drains into a sink or a pipe.

I suspect that if you have already used the product on your toilet, you should flush the toilet a dozen times to purge the Liquid Plumr, if you can. I wish I could be more helpful.

Answer:	Yes, but large blocks of hair will not breakdown very quickly. MegaMicrobes will degrade the soapy sludge that usually traps the hair which will help release it. A toxic acid drain cleaner may burn through some of the hair but it will not reduce the buildup overall, in addition to being dangerous to handle and potentially harmful to the pipes. We recommend that large chunks of hair be removed or loosened physically with a light weight drain plunger (costs about $3 any hardware store) or by using a wire hanger (take off drain cover first - most hair buildup is typically not that far down the drain. Then let MM work on the remianing sludge and hair - regular use will definitely reduce the amount of hair buildup in that drain.

Question:	How easy is it to measure out each treatment if you are just pouring
Answer:	We have friends who have older farmsteads like yours. Their problem with toilet paper and the systems they have are due to the fact that the pipes used back then have clay consistency that is beginning to break down and collapse. It's a big problem, and both of the families have resorted to putting used toilet paper into a trash can next to the toilet. Gross, but it does require the advent of public sewer to answer or new piping installed. Also, the thick toilet paper is a common problem with normal septic systems. We have an older system (house 1970s), but it functions great as we use bacteria tablets regularly as well as SCOTT TISSUE bio degradable toilet paper. We learned from RV days that the holding tanks require certain tp, and SCOTT TISSUE 1000 sheets per roll is the only brand we use. After 2 decades and a family of 6 in our home, we finally had our first pumping of the holding tank. Maintenance is key, but your problem may be much, much different. Try SCOTT and bacteria tablets to help maintain, but I really think it's your collapsing pipes if they're as old as your house.

Answer:	I drop a packet in the bowl, let it hang out while I brush my teeth, then flush. This is an awesome product, in my experience works better than any I've used (in more than a few decades!).

Answer:	They are designed for use in sink drains and release enzymes which dissolve grease clogs over time. I don't think this would work well in a dishwasher. The strips are actually more like straws and are a few inches long, so probably not ideal for use in a dishwasher drain.

Answer:	We use it about once a week (until I can get my boss to pony up for a plumber). We have not had any problems. They last quite a while. I agree with the other person though. In my home bathroom I used a mixture of baking soda, salt and vinegar. Cleared everything right out. Also make sure to some hot water through for a couple of minutes every once in a while. The water stands in the ptrap and gets smelly if you dont.

Answer:	You should put a bio-flow stick completely down the drain & then start its action by flowing some warm water down that drain. Use one stick monthly for preventive maintenance. As for a drain that has a garbage disposal, the stick has to be placed completely below the blades to avoid splintering & possible clogging.
