Answer:	I have a note 8 and it fits easily. The problem I have is the bag zips where it attaches to the frame and can be difficult to open. The Velcro may rip and could use reenforcing.

Answer:	I have the Motorola Droid Maxx 2. It's a 5.5 inch screen, & it fits perfectly. I don't know how big the iPhone 7 is, but if it's close to my Droid. It will fit.

Answer:	The outer sides are rugged and thick.. the problem is the "span" material between the sides -- where the velcro straps connects -- is very thin and nowhere near as rugged. It is these areas that take actually hold the weight of the bag & whatever you're carrying and thus this area dictates the "strength" of the bag... and they DO NOT HOLD UP! I have, maybe, 5-7lbs (mostly a singular lock weight) and the "span" area has just fallen apart. I've tried sewing it back together and reinforcing it with denim patches to give the upholstery thread something denser/stronger to hold onto and still the mesh fabric of the span is, STILL, falling apart! I've only had the bag for about 1 yr and have repaired 2-3 times (started to breakdown after about 5-6 months). It's JUNK... waste of money!

Answer:	I remember my concerns about mass of components from my racing days (early 1970s). Some cyclists would actually drill out chain rings and flute their seat posts in order to loose a few extra grams! From the laws of physics, the important mass to be concerned about is accelerating the mass at the end of the spinning discs (the tires and rims). It takes more muscle energy to accelerate spinning mass than any static mass on the frame (F=MA and "a body at rest tends to stay at rest"). Having pointed that out, the cage is made from lightweight aluminum. I have not weighed it, but It is just massive enough to hold a water bottle in place without failure; the bottle, which when filled, has even more mass than the cage holding it. You can always do away with the cage and put the bottle in the back pocket of your jersey. ;-D

Answer:	These work great with 20 oz plastic bottles that are used for Gatorade. The cage can be bent in or out a bit to provide just the right squeeze to hold the bottle and not rattle. And they will fit bottles specifically made for bikes, sold at most sports shops. The Gatorade bottle is a more economical choice, and sports top bottles are available too. I think a metal, or a glass bottle would rattle in an annoying way, so I wouldn't think to try that. As for glass, if it drops, you now have broken glass where you and others will ride. Not so great for the tires, and you wont have water for the rest of that ride. If you go with a glass or metal bottle, a bit of cloth tape wrapped around the parts of the cage that make contact with the bottle might reduce any rattle.

Answer:	What tool are you referring to? It's a pouch that attaches to the bike frame. It's empty. It attaches by straps.

Answer:	The stripes are very long and I have a matte back carbon frame and I have ridden over 500 miles with it with no damage at all! It is big enough to carry all my perks and huge iPhone 8 plus without problems!

Answer:	The strap is pretty long total length 6.7 inches, I think it would fit that it's got a lot of extra room.

Answer:	It is at least water resistant and probably an order of magnitude drier than the pockets on the back of my jersey. There is no way it is truly water-proof since it has zippers, but I think it would keep things dry through significant rain and tire splashing. I haven't really ridden that much with it in damp weather.
