Question:	Are they dishwasher safe
Answer:	I don't have a dishwasher so I can't say with 100% certainty, but these can take much higher temperatures than your dishwasher could ever put out. I believe these are good to about 400 degrees F and your dishwasher might get as high as 130 degrees F max. I just rinse mine off under hot water after using them and they clean right up. If they have flour and oil on them, I just add some soap and they wash off in about 5 seconds. The only bad thing i can see about washing these in a dishwasher is having them blown off from wherever you put them by the spray and maybe jamming one of the spray wands. They are pretty light and there is not much to hold them down. I love mine and use them a lot. They clean easily.
Question:	How long can I hold a hot pan while wearing these? 10 seconds? 30 seconds
Answer:	I use them for taking inner pot of instant pot out and lifting microwave things out. I would say over 30 seconds, I have never felt the heat come thru. I haven't tested the length of time tho.

Answer:	Thumb holes? They're like mittens. One segment for the thumb and the other for the rest of your hand. The cotton insulation lining wears out really quickly though; mine only lasted about eight months before I had to replace them with traditional oven mitts.

Answer:	A rinse or wipe with a sponge is usually all that’s needed. When really grimy you can remove the insert and machine wash those, and you can put the silicone part in the top shelf of your dishwasher.

Question:	Just want to make sure does the set come in this eggplant colour? Thank you
Answer:	Not only are they dishwasher safe, with zero warping in the bottom on high temp wash, but they don't scratch like the cheaper PVC ones that these replaced. My wife and I are somewhat germophobic and generally use them once and drop them in the dishwasher (we bought a dozen to use that way), so they have been washed on high temp in a new machine probably 25-30 times since we've bought them. And they still look new, with very sharp knives being used upon them. Haven't had that with any other product!
Question:	temperature limit
Answer:	It is reversible. But, only one side has the trough. It would probably hold all the juices from a chicken, but a turkey might be too much. You might have to use some paper towels to make sure it wouldn't overflow. Good idea to use one side for vegetables exclusively. It's my favorite cutting board even if the trough isn't huge.
Question:	Does this have a magnet in it like the older version
Answer:	The cutting board is made of HDPE polyethylene which is rated for 230° F. So, yes it's safe for slightly hotter than boiling water but not out of the oven.
Question:	whyyyyy did they take out the magnet?! we lost ours in the move and now i can't replace them
Answer:	Valid question, and sometimes hot objects have to be placed quickly, and cutting boards tend to be convenient. The best answer here is wood. Many wood cutting boards are made from bamboo, which has a burning temperature of almost 600°F, much higher than a plastic cutting board. The tradeoff is that wood tends to absorb smell and be more prone to mildew.

Answer:	They are machine washable and then we recommend that you just air dry them. It will not ruin them if you put them in the dryer, but we think they'll ultimately hold up better if you just air dry them. If you forget, there are actually washing instructions on the little tag on the inside of the mitts.
Question:	I have small hands and struggle feeling like I have good grip using a typical oven mitt. How do these handle for small (child-sized) hands
Answer:	These mitts look like they were designed with women in mind ...They are too small for many men over a medium build or with much above average hands ... any man over 200 lbs should definitely look elsewhere, as these will be too small ...kind of ridiculous you could have one size for all, from a 90 lb woman to a 250 lb man , and so they are too small for a lot of men .
Question:	Are they washable
Answer:	Yes, they are machine washable. You should wash them in cold on the gentle cycle and just lay them flat to dry. FYI, this info is also on the little tag on the inside of each mitt.

Answer:	I bought the regular size for my sofa and I used the measurements that they have posted. It fits as it should and so does the love seat cover. I hope this helps. I put a few upholstery pins in it to help keep it in place because I had made new cushions to use in the sofa so when they were used a little I had to re-adjust the cover. I'm happy with the fit and the covers look good.

Answer:	I just looked for washing instructions. I could not find any. For myself, I plan on just throwing them in the washing machine. They are well made!
