Answer:	I don't know if you can carry a dog that large in here by using the strap. I feel the dog would fit but the bag is pretty lightweight so it might be a pretty bumpy ride. I use the handles to carry my cats to keep the bag a bit more stable.

Answer:	Yes I washed the entire carrier with laundry soap and poured a little cat urine remover in it. It washed great with no smell. The only thing I had to replace the wooden bottom. I wish the wooden bottom was hard plastic so it could be wiped down.

Answer:	This fits any size of bike. I had two 26 inch mountain bikes, a 16 inch, and a 12 inch kids bike at the same time.

Answer:	i would say no.......and yes.......the platform itself is plenty large, but the stabilizers that pivot up to slide onto the tires will be too narrow. They were too narrow for my mountain 29er which does have fairly fat cross country tires(2.2?). However: i was able to expand these stabilizers wider by bending them open to make them 'fit', and now it works fine. You probably could do the same, although you'll have to widen more than i did. i was able to do it by hand(cuz i only needed a little bit more space) but you might have to exert a little more force for the 2.5s. i feel that it would be possible.
Question:	How have you prevented the bikes from rubbing together? My wife and I have nice road bikes and the kids have craiglist specials
Answer:	I have used this with 4 bikes at a time. Alternate the bikes, i.e. handlebars left, handlebars right. That way the seats and handlebars touch, but nothing painted can touch. One modification I made is that the hole for the pin inthe hitch receiver seemed way too close to the end of the tube. This had the rack sticking out about 10" more thannecessary. I drilled new holes (5/8" dia.) further in. It's not absolutely necessary to do this, but I feel it added tothe stability. The rack is very sturdy. We use 4 mountain bikes (heavy) and drive on rough back roads. The tire holders hold the bikes quite firmly in place. They provide a ratchet strap to cinch them down. They stay solidly in place. The rack is a little on the heavy side, but it's made of solid strong steel.

Answer:	yes, the rack can be removed with just a few allan screws
Question:	Would it fit on a 33.9 mm diameter seatpost
Answer:	No, it definitely does not fit. Just purchased one based on this answer, and although you can force it, it's clearly not meant to fit this size post. You have to loosen the screw nearly completely, and force the screw over the clasp to get it to fit (the washer won't even fit), and there isn't any space left over for rubber to keep the post from scratching. Returning mine, along with the bag and rain guard...
Question:	Can you fit a milk crate on this rack (horizontally)? or does that curved end get in the way too much
Answer:	Yeah the curved end would probably get in the way. They sell another rack that mounts to the frame and would probably be better and doesn't have the curve on the end. Don't get the one that's especially made for the click in bag.

Answer:	The flat area on the rack is 12 inches x 5 1/2 inches. The total length is 15 inches (including the turned up sections front and back. Hope it helps.

Answer:	I'm not quite sure. The angle of the seatpost shouldn't be much different then any other bike. Also the arms that go down on each side that connects to the lower part of the frame are adjustable. I could not see why it wouldn't fit.
Question:	Can it be used on carbon seat post and frame? Specialized cust care person recommends absolutely no clamping to any carbon parts
Answer:	Physically, don’t see why not... but don’t think its worth voiding your $$$$ bike’s warranty?? Your call. Amazon has some nice backpacks that don’t void warranties ;)
