Answer:	No don’t take off the silicone cover. Plug the charger in the light is green. When you plug in the battery the light will go red until completely charged.
Question:	How many lumens is this light? Is it really 10500 lumens
Answer:	Assuming they use a Cree XML T6 LED, each one puts out a rated 1040 Lumen, so theoretically it would output around 7000 lumen. 10500 is out of the question, but I have a flashlight with 18 T6 LEDs and it will light up the side of a house at 300 feet, so yes, these outputs are realistic.

Answer:	It's definitely not 10,500 lumens. Even 1,500 lumens seems a bit high -- 800 would be a better guess. That said, most of these cheap LED lights overstate their lumen ratings. Many just look at the maximum possible rating for each LED and add them up, even though they don't drive them anywhere near that hard. Now, is 10,500 lumens this a typo or an exaggeration or a flat out lie? I do not know. But consider that HID car lights (perhaps some of the most luminous ones out there) only put out about 3000 lumens/bulb. Either way, it does put out a pretty decent amount of light. The light itself is a bit overly large for a bike light -- you can get ones that are a good deal smaller and put out the same light -- but it's not bad at all. But yeah, never trust the lumen figures they give.

Question:	Is this too bright for a helmet when road biking
Answer:	On the contrary. I used it when commuting home at night last summer. It's way too bright to aim at someone's face but if you ride outside intermittently street lit areas, I'd pay higher to get even more lumens. I love the USB charge ability and it lets you know it needs a charge with a red LED. Mounts easy also. Maybe get two? I like the light, so I might do that too.

Answer:	Yes the light does have a rubber cover for the USB port and the port is in the rear of the light. I have not yet use this in the rain. The light seems very bright for the price.
Question:	Is the L2 version really 1000 Lumens and how long does it last on the high setting
Answer:	I had the same question, so I turned it on in my house so I could watch. Mine lasted four and a half hours (4½) on high and just barely under that for blinking mode (the blinking intensity is the same as if it were on high). The light gets VERY Hot if accidentally gets turned-on say, in your pocket, a backpack/purse etc. It gets triggered On very easy whilst being carried in our hand, almost magically, but that ease is a bonus when riding as it is so easy to turn-on. It needs ventilation to keep cool.

Answer:	Yes. A mounting strap is included. The quality of the mount is very questionable. Seller will likely not respond if you have a warranty related issue with the strap/mount
Question:	Does the tail light have a flashing mode
Answer:	Yes. And I recently found out from their customer service that you need to press the button 2x quickly to put it in flashing mode, which has 3 settings, and then press button 2x quickly to go back to always on mode, which also has 3 settings.
Question:	How long will headlight run on blinking
Answer:	high: about 3 hours. Low about 4.5 hours. Blinking aobut 4 hours. Person saying they are getting seven hours on low must be very "lucky" or mistaken
