Answer:	I used 6m strand (recycled power company cable) which is probably about 3/8 " and works fine.

Answer:	It does come assembled and can be placed on a preset cable. The bottom part pulls apart/open and you place it on the cable from above the cable. It can also be locked onto the cable so no one can take it off. We don't want anyone on the zipline when an adult isn't present so we take it off after my kids are done using it each day.

Answer:	Someone could be lowered with it, but that's about it. Rope would need to be twice as long as building is high. Better off with single rope and descender ring.

Question:	Can it attach to an existing cable? Meaning it doesnt need to be threaded
Answer:	It's open on bottom,The cable or rope goes under the the pulleys and then you clip the carabiner to prevent the cable or rope from coming out. You can put this pulley onto a tight line without access to either end.
Question:	is there a speed limit on this and what would happen if you were to exceed it
Answer:	The max. allowed speed is 10m/s. In case of exceeding the pulley can not work properly and it might get dangerous.
Question:	Are the wheels removable for easy installation and/or replacement
Answer:	This device is easy to get on and off the line. It just rest on top and stays connected by the weight of what you hook up to the trolley.
Question:	Can the pulley be placed over a fixed wire (is there a gap between the side plates) or does the wire have to be threaded through the pulley
Answer:	There is a large gap between the side plates. just drop the pulley over the wire and the two wheels will balance the pulley centrally on the wire when a load is applied below it.

Question:	Will this work on a 5/16 cable? Is it single or double baring
Answer:	Twin roller trolly worked well on 5/16 Stainless steel cable for a 80 ft. I used it for crossing a flooded creek during hunting season. I thought mine was rated 4 to 5000lbs tensile strength. Because of how the cable strands were wrapped. But rechecking were I purchased cable the only list 1800 tensile strength cable. Our heaviest person weighed less than 250 lbs. Worked well down to 15 degrees Fahrenheit.
Question:	Will it work with coated cable? I have a bunch of 5/16 coated cable had anyone used this
Answer:	Jon I tried vinyl coated cable many years with a home-made zipline trolley. It peeled the vinyl off quite quickly. There is a lot of weight per square inch on those wheels. I used galvanized wire which held up for 10 years or more, though I think the trolley wore some of the zinc off eventually. A friend used stainless steel cable which did not seem terribly expensive compared to galvanized, though I have not studied it carefully. You want these to last. I built mine for my kids, now I'm rebuilding for my grandkids. Good luck.

Answer:	Yes you can remove it, and use just the handles.
Question:	Is there some instructions as to how to attach the safety harness & lanyard + how to adjust the seat
Answer:	I put mine at about a 20 degree angle; its fast enough with a good pull to put my kids (11&12) vertical at the end/brake. You can pull slower for younger children and it's not as fast.
Question:	Will this work if my trees are closer to 50 feet apart
Answer:	The cable is 90 feet long. If you are asking for the diameter of the cable, I don't know but can tell you that it can support a person weighing up to 125 lbs. It supports my two grandchildren very well. Hope this helps.
Question:	Can you get a longer main cable? I need 150 ft

Answer:	The breaking strength is listed as 30 kilonewtons. 1 kN is equal to about 224.4 lbf, so the breaking strength is about 6,732 lbf. Note that this is NOT the working load. Depending on the industry, working loads tend to be 1/5 or 1/3 of the breaking strength. So, if you go with the safety factor of 5, you should be good up to 1,346 pounds. This doesn't mean the rest of your setup is necessarily good to that though....

Answer:	It should. I am using it on 3/8. The seems to be enough room for 1/2.
