Answer:	I would bet that your problem is that the Nova cane is 7/8s of an inch. And the tip you got is smaller. They make some that fit but you should send yours back. And get the appropriate size. Nothing can make a too small one fit.

Answer:	This is good quality and should be very durable. As Bill said, it is quite a bit heavier and larger, though, than the lighter-weight model. I got this one for my mother when she was in PT after surgery when she broke her hip, when she was just beginning to transition from a walker to a quad cane, and I actually had to return it because it was harder for her to handle and the physical therapist wanted her to use the smaller, lighter one. I replaced it with the lighter-weight quad cane from the same company. In your situation and for a man, this one may be the right choice.

Question:	Does anyone know how to get replacement tips that are the same/as good as the one that came with this cane
Answer:	I have a steel bariatric cane with a 7/8 inch end shaft. I used to use 7/8 inch standard cane tips which lasted about 4 to 6 weeks. I discovered that 7/8 inch is the standard diameter for American crutch shafts, (they have different sizes in G.B. and Europe). The crutch tips are about the same price as the regular tips, $5-$6 per pair, but last 6 to 9 months. They are also much larger on the ground end for better traction. The crutch tips are the same size as the original tip that came on my cane.
Question:	Is it push pins adjustments and what is the weight of the cane
Answer:	Yes the height adjustment is done by pushing in a pin, and sliding the shaft to one of the pre-determined settings. I looked at the product details in the item description and it lists Shipping weight as 12.8 ounces (which my guess is slightly heavier than the weight of just the cane). However, before I purchased the cane I read the reviews and noted that several of them commented that this cane was lighter than other bariatric canes. I have found the cane weight to be just fine, it is well built, and stable. I am getting ready to order a 2nd one. I hope this helps.

Answer:	The booklet that comes with it doesn't contain that information or even the length when fully extended. However, I can offer this: there are 10 height adjustment holes on the shaft. My husband, who is 5'5", has the cane set at the 4th hole. There are 6 available holes beyond that. It looks to me like the cane can be adjusted to fit someone who is 6'4".
