Answer:	The wind will definitely blow it away if not anchored or weighted down. If it is tucked up along a building that might help but I would definitely recommend weighing it down at all corners at the very least. Think of it as a very small pop up tent. It is light.

Answer:	Amazon offers a 80 lb weight set design to fit around the legs. Each weight is 20 lbs.
Question:	How low can it be set up? I'm planning to use it to cover a very small generator in the event of bad weather during use, not to cover people
Answer:	I use mine for the same reason when deer hunting. Don't forget that you need some height so you can fuel up the generator. As other people have said the lowest leg setting makes the canopy about 2 feet off of the ground. Definitely put weights on the leg feet or it will blow over.

Answer:	It’s a sun shade not really water resistant. I am sure it will stop a very light drizzle but that is about it

Answer:	I don't know about machine washing but I stretched mine out in the yard and rinsed it off with the water hose. But I don't see how it would hurt it . Use the gentle cycle. If you do use the washer , put the results in your review so others will know .

All other tents (ALTOS Backpacking Tents, Mesa Canvas Tents, and the Sierra Canvas Tents) do NOT use any type of fire retardant. At TETON we strive to make the best possible products. That includes using chemicals with the least possible impact that still meet our performance requirements. Because of intellectual property issues we are not able to share specific formulations, including the exact chemistry used in our products. With regard to Fire Retardant products we do want to remind you to never use a stove in or near a tent or cot, and to always keep our products away from open flames.

Question:	Does this tent provide any thermal insulation in moderate temperature (40-F), relative to just sleeping out on a mat
Answer:	i slept in 28F and had frost on the entire tent. i slept on a mat & with a warm sleeping bag and was very comfortable. It's multi layers gives a certain amount of extra protection but would not say it has any thermal factor to speak of. It was very dry on the floor. i do like the tent.
Question:	Does this tent need to be staked to stay up or could I get away with leaving it unstaked if there is no wind
Answer:	If there is no wind it will stay in place, but it's a light tent. Leave some gear inside, sleeping mat or bag, etc.. We bought the Outfitter cot which works great with this tent. One warning the tent will leak even w/ rain hood and while it's on cot the rain hood does not cover the edges of the cot so that rain runs down the outside of the tent, on top of the cot, under the tent and inside.
Question:	A post (a year ago) from Teton says fly was being improved. Can anyone vouch that it NOW keeps water off the cot
Answer:	The rainfly that comes with the tent is still the same. However, I contacted Teton Sports customer service and they said that their "Elite 1009 Rainfly" is made specifically for use of the tent with the cot. I ordered it from their web site http://store.tetonsports.com/elite-1009-rainfly/ (this link is valid as of writing this post and the photo is a bit deceiving, showing the wrong rainfly) and it covers the cot perfectly and extends all the way to the ground. I haven't used it in the rain though but seems like it should work.

Answer:	I don’t think there is a 1 star review, I have had my tent up for two months and stayed plenty of nights through heavy rains and snow and ice and it’s a great tent , I love it

Answer:	We rolled into camp as it was getting dark and never having put it up before and got it up in about 15 minutes with 2 people. Directions are a little bit unclear, but the poles are color-coded so it was faster than I anticipated.

Question:	Are the two vestibules of equal size
Answer:	Yes, the two vestibules are of equal size on the Mountain Ultra 2, 3, and 4. That information is below for your review. Please reach out with any other questions or concerns. The Mountain Ultra 1 has 5 sq ft per vestibule-there is one. The Mountain Ultra 2 has 4 sq ft per vestibule - there are two. The Mountain Ultra 3 has 8 sq ft per vestibule-there are two. The Mountain Ultra 4 has 11 sq ft per vestibule-there are two.
Question:	Can I fit a cot 75" in length inside the 2 person tent
Answer:	TETON Sports Cots don't fit inside the Mountain Ultra Tents well because of the design. These tents were designed to be backpacking tents and not specifically for cots. A 75" cot is likely too large to fit inside the Mountain Ultra 2 Tent.
Question:	Can you pitch this tent rainfly first/dry pitch
Answer:	I do know what you mean, I've had tents like that. This one would not really work well. If you use the foot print it comes with, you could put the ends of 2 of the 3 poles into the foot print grommet holes and keep the poles in place by using the 4 Velcro strips on the under side of the rain fly. The 3rd pole that would lift the ceiling more will not work this way, so it would work OK, but not super sturdy or at full height. I'd definitely tie off the guy lines to a tree or stake them in the ground.
Question:	Is this considered a four season tent
Answer:	The Mountain Ultra Tent Series were designed as 3-season tents. However, when the guy lines are used properly our 3-season tents do well in winds up to 50 or 60 mph. Since our backpacking tents were designed as 3-season tents, they have not been tested in extreme cold. The tent components have been individually tested for performance in cold weather and work well to about -40 degrees Fahrenheit. Feel free to reach out with any other questions or concerns.
