Answer:	yeah the back wall is always open. there's no window to zip up. the tent is really designed to run with the rain fly on it all the time. We love this tent and camped in it all last season and had no complaints.

Answer:	For tent sizing, a general rule of thumb is that whatever person size the tent says it can hold, take half off for a comfortable fit. 6 people would be sardines in a can.... this is a good size for 2 people! lololol but i like space....

Question:	Does the screened in portion of the tent have zip up flaps in case it rains? It is hard to tell in the pictures. Does the screen room have a floor
Answer:	Hi! The screen room does have a floor- same type of plastic floor as the main portion of the tent. The windows on the inside of the tent have zip up flats, but the screened in portion at the apex of the tent does not. That is covered only by the rain fly.
Question:	With the back being 80% screened, does this make it too cold inside for kids (just in regards to regular cold mountain mornings--not winter camping
Answer:	We went camping in this tent in mid-September at approx 12,000 ft above sea-level in Colorado and yes, not having a permanent cover over the back of the screened portion made it very cold. We ended up having to cover the back screen wall with moving blankets we had in the back of our car. This is just a one season tent for high altitudes, summer.
Question:	If i was going to lay a tarp down first before setting the tent up(so nothing pokes through bottom), how big of a tarp would i need
Answer:	we have a 16x20 ft tarp that we slightly fold over about 2 ft. that gives us about 3 ft in front of the tent as an entrance outside of the screened in area. you definitely need a large tarp for this tent even though it may look ridiculous when you fold it out :)
Question:	I know the whole thing is 14 x 10. What size is the dome? Is it 10x11 like the other Evanston
Answer:	Sleeping area is approximately square - about 10X10. The porch is about 4 ft deep and 10 ft wide on the sleeping area side, but the front porch corners are angled, so the front width of the porch is only about 9 ft.

Answer:	The screen room and the back panel do not have zip up closures, but the two side windows do

Answer:	The 4 person will accommodate 2 cots, but touches the tent on both ends due to the tapering of the tent. The dimensions are measured at floor level. The gear storage bags will hang on top of you while sleeping on the cot and can feel a little claustrophobic at times. I would recommend the 6 person size to comfortably accommodate 2 cots.
Question:	I am 5'6" tall and wondered if I can stand up inside the tent
Answer:	It depends on which tent you're inquiring about. All are included in this Q&A section. 4-person is about 4'11" center height, which is as tall as I am; 6-person is 6' center height.
Question:	How does one keep the screened area from collecting rain water
Answer:	Hello, user of this tent here during a rainy weekend. It doesn't - there's a netting between the main tent floor and the porch area to drain the water, but rainwater ends up pooling on the porch tarp anyways because unless you pitch the porch leaning down on a hill, there's no way to make the water actually flow outward. The only way you'd avoid this is if you poked holes in the porch, or brought along one of those shower mats that have the holes in them. For me, this resulted in an eternal puddle that never ended up drying, and a muddy and filthy porch area after camping. Furthermore, the screened in area isn't...actually screened in. There are two 6 inch gaps on the corners between the tent and porch for passing a cable through that don't have zippers, which means that not only is it not actually insect proof, but you also can't leave the tent door unzipped to get additional ventilation from the porch because the holes will let mosquitos in. The porch area is the exact opposite of a selling point in this scenario...

Question:	Does this tent have a hook at the peak on the inside for a lantern? Thanks
Answer:	in general you can go by the %VLT (visual light transmission) which is essentially the % of light that is allowed to pass through the lens. higher VLT means more light passes through (good for night and cloudy days when less light is available, i use HI Yellow which is around 80%, clear is good for night and will have an even higher VLT), lower VLT means less light passes through (good for sunny days when there is too much light available, i use jade and fire iridium 10-20%). for the inbetween days(which is most of the time for me), partly cloudy, you will want an in between VLT, here i use persimmon which is about 55% VLT and i am now purchasing the Pink mirror which advertises 50% VLT (meaning that half of the light is allowed to pass through the goggle. Remember, you cant ski if you cant see.for overcast you will want something in the mid to high range depending on the clouds. from these zero lenses your best bet is probably pink or ruby (based off VLT only, as i havent used these yet), but a persimmon lens will also work well

Question:	Is this tent produced in a dictatorial country like China
Answer:	This tent does have a tub floor. We felt that feature is more for a backpacking tent, when there is a higher chance of potential flooding in your area. We lowered the floor seam to the ground in case there was a potential for the seam to leak. We wanted to stop any possibility of a leak before it became an issue.
Question:	Would it be advisable to spray tent and seems with waterproofing, or is that unnecessary
Answer:	Tents are water resistant so I've never waterproofed one. Just remember when it rains, don't touch the walls or else the moisture will come through. If you do use waterproofing, use the kind for pop up trailers bought in camping Dept of your local store,but this will wear off with time and more so with tents being folded and rolled up tight continuously.
Question:	My tent broke during the first use. Has anyone contacted Hewolf to get a tent fixed
Answer:	This is not a 4 season tent. The rain fly provides pretty decent coverage, but if it's windy, gusty rain, there may be some leakage. You could always put a tarp over it for improved rain protection. There are vent flaps on the sides for fresh air which may make it a bit chilly if it's too cold outside. To me, 30 degrees isn't too bad, but without knowing your tolerance I'd have a tough time recommending it or not recommending it. I am VERY pleased with the tent overall. Hope this helps.

Detachable Poles

• Insert the detachable support poles to the pockets on the top to prevent collapsing in rainy days. Notice, please oblique the poles when insert them, adjust the pole to stay in the middle and upright.
• When inserting the end of the roof poles, please pay attention to the other side of the pole. Failure to do this may cause punctures or cuts to your gazebo.

Dos and Don’ts

• Since it is hard to predict the cold temperature and snow volumn, we do not recommend to use and leave the bubble outside in freezing and snowing weather. If you expect to use the tent in freezing or snowy weather, it is required to pull ALL guylines, use our sun shade/ snow cover accessories. Without these accessory, you may damage the roof when brushing snow off which is improper usage and not covered by warrantee.
• In cold weather, please note the clear material is FRAGILE. To prevent accidental rips, tears or other deformities, please make sure to exercise caution when removing snow from the roof. Snow should be removed ONLY by gently brushing of the top of the tent. Never should snow be removed from the inside.

Windproof and Guylines

• This winter screen house comes with 8 elongated sandbags, 16 guylines and 16 mounting stakes, will provide stability when in windy conditions. NOTICE, not recommended to use when the wind force reaches level 6 (10.8-13.8 m/s).

Question:	Will this fit a queen size air mattress
Answer:	While I have used this tent with a queen sized air mattress, it didn't really work. You cant zip the door shut along the bottom, and it takes up all of the floor space. If you are fine with that, then go for it.

Answer:	A full sized American pickup truck, GMC Chevy, Dodge Ram, and Ford/Lincoln all have 48" between the wheel wells. A long bed, or full size bed, will measure 4' between the wheel wells X 8' in length. If you have the luxury of driving a truck right up to where you're setting up camp: sleep in the truck. Sleep in the cab. Get a camper shell. Get a tonneau cover, and sleep under the tonneau. Use the stake pockets on your bed rails, and improvise shelter with a tarp. Do I need to point out that since you have the luxury of a truck, by all means do not sleep on the ground?

Answer:	According to the description, the 17x9 dimension is for the tent sleeping area, which would not include the porch. It says that the screened porch is additional, which would mean that it is not included in the 17 x 9 dimension given
Question:	How long does it take to set up
Answer:	The first time it took about 30 stressful minutes. I did it by myself so it would take a lot less time with 2 people. I can now set it up by myself in about 10 minutes. It's super easy. Make sure you follow the instructions as they are color coded. It's a great tent especially the door. The only negative is the screened in area is kinda small and does not have a floor. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Answer:	Yes, it comes with everything you need to set it up. The only thing I would suggest is to buy some seam sealer and go around the seams to prevent water leaks. But it includes the rainfly, stakes, directions, etc. I love our tent, I hope you do too!
