Question:	Does your tent have a seam across the bottom of the floor? Does it leak at the seam
Answer:	Mine does not have a seam across the bottom (that would be weird). It doesn’t leak at the seams but the bathtub/floor part is not extremely water resistant. Every time I have gone camping with the alps tent it has rained heavily and everything that touches the ground gets damp. I’m not sure a footprint would make a big difference because rain water can just dribble in between the two. I just bought a nikwax sealant to see if I can improve it.

Answer:	I put this tent in a Kelty 6 inch diam. x 12 inch compression bag. it will compress to 8 to 10 " I don't full compress it. Just to the width of my back pack. I stow the poles and pegs separate.

Question:	would it fit queen air bed
Answer:	Hello, the queen bed will fit but push against the wall at both ends especialy with a higher mattress as the walls slope in.. I use a 13 Inch high Intex full and it leaves space on one side to store and dress. Better to go with the Lynx 6 person if you would like to use a queen mattress that's got any height to it. If you don't need any floor space then go for it!

Question:	Does this fit nicely in a backpack in terms of weight/size
Answer:	I say yes, it weighs under 7 lbs packed and the packed size is 7" x 23.5". Someone please find me a tent that is 7'6 x 8'6 (64 sq ft.) that has these specifications? This is the roomiest backpacking tent you will find. I can easily tie it to the bottom or the side of my backpack. If you want a lot of tent space and the flexibility of a backpacking tent, this is the way to go.

Question:	Has anyone tried setting up a (standard sized) cot in this tent? Based upon the dimensions, it would fit, but is it practical
Answer:	Ordered tape to use with marking knitting patterns but when removed it also removed the print it covered. So don't use for that. They are 1/2 in wide. Don't know length.

Question:	Will a basic 8’ x 10’ tarp work as a footprint for this tent
Answer:	It's just a bit under 26" when folded up in the carrying pouch. Unfolded height is right around 22". The bottom sits at 6"-8" with a width of 20" in between the side support bars. Weighs in around 5lbs. Bring a pad or an extra hoodie to sit on because the bottom support bars will dig in to your thighs/butt after a short amount of time. The discs that contact the ground on the bottom swivel a decent amount. So if you can find a spot to lean back against something, it'll help take the pressure off of that area.
Question:	are there any Seems in the middle of the floor like on the Lynx 2.. I know that the Lynx 4 doesn't ? thank you in advance
Answer:	IMO, great.Hubby says it would sink & you'd sit in sand but they're very nice chairs & he likes them. We use them in the park.
