Answer:	My husband bought two pair, I use mine more and I think they are great. I had major back surgery in March and worry about falling. These cleats are fabulous and they are comfortable to wear, I thought I'd feel bumps etc but the walk is pretty smooth. I have not used in deep snow but feel they would be fine. I leave them on my boots, ready to go. The cleats are sharp, be careful. I live in the country, lots of snow and icy roads where I walk my dog. Hope this helps.

I like them but I also found they do not always have adequate surface area causing yourself to fall through the snow a lot more than I would have liked. I DO still use them but when I buy a new pair later on I will make sure that the surface area is enlarged.

Answer:	You simply put the front of your boot into what looks like a stirrup on the device and pull it back firmly to the back of the shoe until it is snug. If you bought the right size it will remain tight on your boot.

Answer:	my size 11boot , i'll use a XL snow traction , that's the biggest size for them

Answer:	Not 100% sure. I originally thought that they were for securing them to the shoe somehow. But if they are, I can't figure it out. How I personally use the strap is to attach the muddy spikes to my backpack while I am not using them on the hike. When I get home, I clean the spikes, dry them and then put them back in their carry bag. This may or may not be the strap's true purpose but it's working for me.

Answer:	The Grivel G12 will work with size 4-12 men’s US, but there are a couple options available as an add-on to increase size range. Extender bars and Grivel Flex Plates both extend fit, and are pretty affordable.

Answer:	Hi there, Unfortatnelty you will have to buy an extender for them to fit a size 14 boot. The contacts will go up to a size 12 us without the extender.

Answer:	No way. These barely fit my size 11 LL Bean Cresta hiking boots with the center bar at its last position. This is the biggest shortfall of these otherwise great strap-on crampons. For larger boots you will need to spend an extra $20 for the extended length center bar.

Question:	Will this work with a Mountainsmith Upland 2 person tent? It's an inch or two smaller all around than my tent
Answer:	Your weight is the most critical factor. Snowshoes are sized according to the weight they will carry. I do not remember our sizes, but I weigh about 40 LBS more than my wife so got her a smaller pair. We have really enjoyed them, I think we got it right!
Question:	what are the dimensions of the footprint in inches
Answer:	Make sure you fasten them correctly. On the front straps, the corrugated strap from the inside of the snow shoe slides into the very bottom of the receiving side, on the outside of the snow shoe. To tighten, pump the clamp repeatedly until it is snug. To release, press the button inside the clamp. It should be instant. The strap around the back of the boot is a back-pack type fastener, you have to squeeze the outside of the female side to release.
