Answer:	You will want to use staked. The wind will just carry it away. I didn't like this model. Lasted one season and it tore. It was hard to set up too. I converted to the Coleman dome 12X12.
Question:	how does it hold up in heavy wind
Answer:	I have had my original Coleman 13x13 for at least 6 years, and had it up in approximately 30 mph winds. I had staked it well, and it held up fine! I am convinced the canopy vent keeps it from flying away in the wind. I am purchasing my second canopy to cover the other half of my patio for a BBQ party.
Question:	Does this canopy hold up well at the beach? We will be on an island and the windy is very gusty at times
Answer:	Had it in use on a Florida beach for several years with no issues. Bury each leg in the sand one foot deep (lower sure, but still very comfortable) and then I drilled each leg another foot up each leg and added a sandbag that my wife made if needed - just weren’t very often. Awesome tent, heavy, but if you want it to stand up to wind that’s what it takes.
Question:	Does the roof vent actually help it to feel cooler under the canopy
Answer:	Yes, in a side by side comparison, this canopy feels cooler. Also like others have said, it allows wind to go through it instead of taking off like a sail. Another great feature is that we have camped in the rain and were able to place the canopy over a fire pit (with a modest fire) and stay warm and dry while the smoke was able to escape through the vent

Answer:	Wow...I just did some research for you. NOW Orange essential oil is cold pressed from the Non-GMO orange peal. So there you go, it's natural and edible. As far as mixing it with water. Didn't anyone ever tell you that oil and water don't mix. The oil will float on top of the water. You can probable take with the dropper and use the water as a chaser, or mayby oj would be better.

1. Lay the Sun Shelter flat, make sure poles are fully extended and spread out. With both hands, pull top two strings upward.

2.Continue to pull the two cords up and out until the hubs come close together.

3.Pull until the upper and lower sections of the hub connect. As hubs get closer to connecting, the resistance will increase and the body of the shelter will bow out.

4.After it's locked in place, stake out the corners and guylines for added stability.

Answer:	It’s like a large Umbrella but at least 3 x as thick. I found it very difficult to set up and nearly impossible to fold up and put back in the bag. If you get it, I hope you have better luck than I did.

Answer:	I don't see anything on the label indicating that it has been pasteurized. However, I'm sure the manufacturer has used some process to exclude contaminants, since it appears clean in my opinion - no hairs or other visible dirt. My nose is not offended by the mild scent. It has a very thick texture and a translucent golden color, maybe a shade darker than A & D ointment if you are familiar with that product. I use this lanolin mainly on my hands in winter time here in Pennsylvania where the cold dry winter air can do a real number on skin. Today when I go outside to shovel about a zillion feet of snow in the howling wind, I will use some on my face as well as on my hands to protect against the drying effects of said howling wind. For this purpose it is excellent. I've been using it a little over a year now with no ill effects. I don't see that it is labeled for use as a food and I would not recommend ingesting it.

Answer:	It can stand by itself, by it isn't sturdy. The pegs are really needed to make it sturdy enough to not be knocked about, even by wind. The ribs are lightweight & the entire structure isn't very heavy at all, which makes the set up & take down so easy. There is almost always some breeze at the beach & it's easy to put the pegs in. On the grass, with no wind, it may be ok for sporting event, by it isn't as heavy as a tent.

The tarp I received has 4 woven strap corner straps, the corner of the tarp has a gusset across the corner the doubled over strap is 5 inches long with a grommet 2 inches out from the corner of the tarp. also at the middle of the tarp there is a small tie loop on both sides. nice tarp, have not used it in rain yet.

Answer:	The diagram is correct in that the corner to corner distance is just shy of 13 feet. My measurement was 12' 10.75" or 1.25" short of 13 feet. Based on TV ads, I'd say it's safe to round up to 13 feet. Hope that helps.

Answer:	If it's really heavy, you may (1) struggle to get it assembled if by yourself, and (2) you will find that the 6 sandbags alone would not be sufficient to hold it down. We had a pretty heavy wind one day on the beach, that was blowing directly into the tent (not sideways, which probably would have been less of an issue). We had lots of stuff in the tent so it was OK, but one thing I did when returning home was to go to REI and pick up some nylon bags larger than the ones that come w/ the kit so I could have some 20 lb sandbags in the 4 corners next time around.
Question:	Is this tent small enough to carry as a overhead on a plane
Answer:	There is a floor mat that extends out from the interior of the tent where the folding chairs can be placed and would be okay. However, if you are wanting the chairs to be in the interior of the tent then I would say NO. The inside space would not be large enough to fit two adults in camping chairs comfortably.

Packing Instructions

1.Gather all 4 outside edges and hold them tightly in your hand.

2.Turn the tent upright. Hold on to the edges with one hand, and with your other hand push the top down towards the middle - folding in on itself.

3.Continue to flatten the tent after shoving the top into the middle. At this point you should have formed 2 circular shapes.

4.Overlap the 2 circular shapes over the bottom circular base. Align all 3 circles into one.

5.Done! Now place the folded tent into the carrying bag.
