Answer: It is a true 10x10, both on top and at the bottom. The legs are not slanted, so the measurement doesn't change. The roof is made of the same water treated fabric as we use on our tents, to keep out rain.

Answer: The Core Equipment 10x10 Instant Canopy is flame resistant - tested to comply with the CPAI-84 flammability test. We don't test to the NFPA 701 test as it's not a common test method for tents. Answer: The canopy top is made with the same fabric as used to make our Core tents, that has a water treatment on it to keep out rain. The general nature of a canopy is not waterproof though, since it has no sides. Any wind that blows the rain sideways will get anything under the canopy wet. We don't recommend using it to keep yourself or your things dry for this reason.

Answer: I bought these before, They are soft rubber like regular on road touring car wheels would be

Answer: 12mm hex? Mos def! Although, go with foams. Kyosho Fazer MK2 responds well to these tires, but then I tried foams... But if you buy these though, glue them some more. They need the additional glue. Great for bashing and drifting!

Question: can this shelter be used with out the walls
Answer: Yes, the screen is detachable and the carrying bag has a pocket on the side for storing the screen. It installs easily with hooks top and bottom to vertical supports. Note/warning: Be sure to lubricate the zippers on the screen. Mine corroded after a few uses at the beach making them useless. There are no replacement parts sold for these screen houses. Question: What is the size when stored in carrying bag
Answer: Approximately 4' x 12" x 12" - and it is heavy. The bag does have wheels on one end making it easier.
Question: is it waterproof
Answer: The question of whether things inside the screened canopy would get wet or not depends on if it's windy whens rains and whether it's a driving rain or not. I sprayed the roof of this tent with a good quality waterproofing spray which helps enormously. In the first week of September 2017, I was selling crafts out of this tent in Ohio. I had the house set up on Friday, but had not set up my wares yet as the event was taking place on Sunday. On Saturday, the area was drenched by a wind driven heavy rainfall. When I checked on the tables inside the tent, they were soaken wet on one side and nearly dry on the opposite side. The lighting I installed near the canopy was nice and dry. Considering this, I would bring a tarp or some other protective cover teh secure to the sides of the tent to prevent rain from entering via the screens. With this precautionary step, I would pretty much guarantee that everything within the tent would be adequately protected from getting wet.
Question: Can it be put up by one person, about 5'4", senior in good condition
Answer: It can be done by one person. Takes about 30 minutes to get it fully set up with the guy wires etc. This tent is very heavy at least 50 lbs. I have owned 2 of these, a very good screen tent.
