Answer:	If you freeze camping you need a warmer bag or more likely a warmer sleeping pad. A good sleeping pad will do more for warmth than any other piece of equipment. You can also add a sleeping bag liner, Alps makes an inexpensive one. A liner can add 5 to 10 degrees to your bags rating. You either sleep cold or warm when sleeping outdoors; if you are warm in a 35 degree bag when it's 35 degrees outside you sleep warm. Woman sleep colder than Men. A 20 degree bag for a Man might be comfortable for a Woman down to only 35. If you sleep cold and you expect to be in 35 degree weather, get a 20 degree bag and a pad with an r-value of 3.2 or above.

Answer:	My personal answer is no way. 2 very skinny and exceptionally friendly people, perhaps. I carry a Texsport Saguaro in my sea kayak as an emergency bivy shelter and it serves that role very well. At these prices you could each have your own tent.

Answer:	Bivy is not actually a sleeping bag which have different temp ratings. It is a shell to retain as much of YOUR OWN body heat as possible.Bivies can retain est'd 60-90o/o of body heat. Basically a long bag with just top opening to slide in. Foil layer on inside to reflect heat, mylar on outside to protect the other. Very, small, light, and can be durable for multiple uses with reasonable care. If get cold in it, get out, do physical exercise to make body heat, get back in bag. Repeat as need to. Boots can tear it inside. No boots on. DONT BREATHE IN BAG. Bag may get wet condensation after a while. Vent often, and, may not happen, or get out periodically. No specific temp, tho. Based on saving body heat, reflecting it back to you. Good for day-hike/emergency. Hope helps.

Be easy on it. Can year, especially with boots getting in. Can last multiple times if take reasonable care. Critical gear. Cannot give it an actual temp rating like a commercial sleeping bag.
