Oasis Big Grizzly Cot is a very long, easy to use, and reliable cot suitable for tall people, for camping and to be used as a spare bed at home.



This is a very stable construction with legs that are bars and they attach to the sidebars through some short extensions that are permanently fixed to the sidebars. So this is one of the most reliable designs because such a leg cannot snap and as you see the bars are also large in the diameter.



On the other hand, such bars on the ground will not sink much regardless of how soft the ground can be. This because of the length of the bar and because you have them 4 in total so the weight is distributed over a large area.This is also a floor-friendly design, so you can use it in any floored tent without the issue of damaging the tent floor. The same holds if you use it as a spare bed at home.



Setup:

Note that this is a roll-up design, and the meaning is simply that the sidebars remain in their sleeves when you dismantle the cot. This makes the setup next time easier. You just do the following steps:



- Spread the bed deck with the sidebars already in position.

- Attach the segments of the sidebars to each other and position those extensions for legs so that you can attach legs easily.

Answer:	While I can't speak specifically regarding cats, I can tell you that this has helped my small dogs immensely. Their itchy flaky skin is all but gone, and I have been using this product for about a month. I put one pump of the oil on each of their dry dog food bowls in the evening, and they absolutely love it. I think the product is amazing, and I highly recommend it.

Answer:	The box says: BPI Compostable in industrial facilities, but you should check to be sure. It also says: Not suitable for backyard composting. Safe for environment / made from corn starch / certified compostable / recycled cardboard core that holds the bags, like a toilet paper roll has a cardboard core / breaks down in 90 days / extra thick and leak proof / If I had to guess, I'd say that there are other non-plant materials used but they do not disclose a full list of ingredients.

Answer:	No, they do not contain EPI. Our bags are plastic free and only contain 100% Biodegradable & Compostable ingredients - primarily corn starch. This is why our bags break down in just 90 days! In some ways, EPI is worse for our planet than regular plastic. EPI decomposes into micro-plastic over time, but never truly biodegrades. In this micro state, its harder to filter out from our soil and water.

Answer:	Our bags are Certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute of the USA (BPI Certificate #10528702) and they decompose best (90 days or less) in a composting facility, where oxygen plays a huge role. Without the presence of oxygen, like in a landfill, the bags will take a little longer than that to break down - but - they will decompose none the less. AND - they will biodegrade with or without pet waste! Our scientific testing and results are a little too extensive to post here, but more information can be provided if we're contacted directly via private message or through our website.

Question:	Will these work with any other holder or do I need the holder you sell
Answer:	I didn't fully read the description and didn't realize they don't have a plastic core. Meaning they don't fit my holders (I have 3) at all, and if I am able to get it closed, they won't roll at all, and I have to open it each time to get a bag out. . I probably wouldn't have bought them if I had known that, but it was my fault for not reading. What I do now is rip a few off the roll, and just stuff them in the holder, and it works well. The price was amazing so I am glad I bought them, after all is said and done.

Answer:	They're not Earth friendly. That's just false advertising, unfortunately

Answer:	In general "no". These bags are ATSM d6954 bags which mean they are regular plastic with additives to spur degredation. The problem is that these need light and oxygen and time to accomplish their job. This will not happen in traditional landfills. They will will be buried with no light and oxygen before then can degrade. In addition, in an incomplete state of degradation these bags will simply create more "micro plastics". For real biodegradable, compostable bags looks up bags that meet ATSM 6400. These are produced with vegetable products and will meet composting standards. These bags will be marketed as "Compostable" on Amazon.

Answer:	That "earth-friendly" statement is greenwash. They are neither a bioplastic nor a biodegradable plastic, but rather a conventional plastic mixed with an additive in order to imitate biodegredation. Oxo-degradable plastics quickly fragment into smaller and smaller pieces, called microplastics, but don’t break down at the molecular or polymer level like biodegradable and compostable plastics. The resulting microplastics are left in the environment indefinitely until they eventually fully break down.
