I have an average sized 3 year old and with the straps tightened all the way ,the top is at the neck and the bottom is just below her butt. Almost hits the bback if her legs. Its a pretty solid bag, too, but over washing can damage any bag. I'd recommend one washing at the end of the season unless it gets exceptionally dirty. Make sure you use a tech wash detergent - Nik Wax Down detergent works for synthetics and down.

I kept it to use as a two-person sleeping bag for regular trips. I carefully rolled it as small as it will go and put it in the stuff sack before measuring it for you: 1'7" tall, and 1' diameter. That's 19" tall and 12" diameter. In metric, that's about 48.25cm tall and 30.48cm diameter. If these numbers seem big, that's because they are.
