Answer:	It does seal pretty good. But there are those imperfections or dents in the soda cans that allow it to leak. I would not recommend using this in a backpack. You will have a mess. These lids are only if you open the can and don't drink all of it at one time. It keeps dirt and bugs from ruining your drink. Much cleaner.
Question:	How long will they hold the carbonation for
Answer:	So far we know at least two days. We haven't tested it for any longer though. Love the can lids though.

Answer:	That has never been a problem. I do not believe the seal is that tight... doesn't do quite the job I expected. Works but not for very long

Answer:	I can't say with certainty (yet) because I cooked 6 the first time around (and they were all perfect). But if the cooking time is determined as I think it is...by the amount of water per egg as noted on the water cup, the only variant should be how long it takes to boil the water out before the timer goes off. Question:	It looks like you put more water in for one egg and the least amount of water for 7? This doesn't make sense to me
Answer:	You're correct— it doesn't make sense. I believe you're referring to the measurements on the included cup. I have a different cooker (the SimpleTaste) with the same problem— the measurement markings were embossed incorrectly. You •do• need more water for more eggs and/or longer cooking time. For one egg, I have to use the 6&7 mark, and for two eggs, the 5 mark, etc. I still have to play with the amount of water used, but going by the cup you'd over cook one egg and undercook 7. MAYBE somewhere in between it would be right.

Answer:	The piercing tool is to prick eggs on the end when you plan to have a hard boiled egg. Some say it keeps the shell from cracking or that it helps the bottom stay round rather than flat. I don't prick mine and they are fine. I'm not making deviled eggs that have to look good. Answer:	The wood Palapa poles were too big, but I’ve used them on wood poles in Greece. It’s about the circumference rather than the type of pole.
