Answer:	The model we bought is wired (1 cable for low voltage power, 1 for video). We didnt want wireless, but you can get wireless units. Installation was easy (assuming you dont mind fishing the cable through attic, etc). No special wiring as power and video tie back to the DVR box and simply "plug in". We"re very happy with the purchase.
