Answer:	back of the hand and back of the fingers are heated. The palms are not. I use them for cold weather motorcycling riding and for this they work well.

Answer:	Thats what I use them for. I rode 2 hours on Thanksgiving day and had to turn them to medium from high. Air temperature was 38 degees.
