Question:	are there heating elements in the fingers, or just the back of the hand? I want to be sure my fingers will stay warm, too
Answer:	I would use a 10ft. They do stretch out in between the lights, but the 6 ft would be too short.
Question:	how do I know what size I need
Answer:	I say NO, you can’t add to “extend this light by connecting more than 1 string” because there isn’t a socket/receptacle to plug the next strand into. As for using “dimmable bulbs”, I would say YES as long as it is the “Medium or Standard E26” bulb since that is the socket size for these lights and your dimmer switch is compatible with the bulb they buy. This last part is more for LED dimmable lights.
