Answer:	It does very well with an electric stove. Having used gas in the past, I would surmise that there would be no problem. With either source I would not recommend unattended over heating. Ours is holding up beautifully.

Answer:	I don't know anything about Induction cooktops, but I can tell you that a regular magnet does not attach itself to the bottom of the pan, if that helps any....?
Question:	What is the inside height? I am trying to decide between the Artistry and the Heavy weight Ecolution griddles for bacon frying
Answer:	I've just measured it and it is 1/2 inch in inside height.

Answer:	My stove is a gas one - so my answer would be moreof a supposition--there is ever so slightridging on the bottom-yet the bottom is virtually flat--andit's the best griddle we have ever owned. We use it formaking pancakes and french toast and it's a dream!
Question:	is this cookware usable on induction cooktops
Answer:	I actually had this same question. I contacted the company directly and was told that since the cookware is painted it would not work on induction cook tops. They do have other products that would work.

Question:	How high is the lip on the pan? Could I use it to fry something in a half inch of oil
Answer:	Lip is about one half inch and rounded. I would never use this pan with more than a coating of oil. Using more could cause a spill and fire.
Question:	I like to make small personal pizzas, will this work instead of the 14" pizza pan which is too big
Answer:	It is excellent for this purpose, but you should also consider the Lodge pizza griddle. I preheat to 500, insert my pizza on a pizza screen and then slide off onto the cast iron after 4-5 minutes. I lightly oil the screen but not the pan. The 14" griddle is a terrific pan for many purposes, and it retains higher heat even if you're only using a small part of the surface. Some people use it as a "pizza stone." I use both these pans very frequently.
Question:	Does this pan work on an induction stove
Answer:	It works.... but you've got to really watch it ... The cast Iron ware I use (1 vintage wagner bought at a yard sale, and 2 new lodge products) gets too hot and in turn heats the induction plate so high it turns off... I have a salton portable cook top from costco (similar to ASIN:B00FAD57SC Salton Induction Cooker Energy efficiency 300W-1800W, 140F-465F)
Question:	How about its performance on an electric stove for making indian rotis/chapattis/breads

Question:	Are they sturdy or heavy? I personally like heavy cookwares. Do the handles get hot
Answer:	The handle doesn't get hot. The skillet seems durable, but is not heavy.
Question:	Can it be used on a gas grill on medium high heat? We plan on frying fish outside
Answer:	A little information guide for the user was included. Among other things, it says not to use butter or olive oil because they smoke at a lower temperature. They recommend canola, Safflower, peanut and palm oils. Now I will quote. "Alllow the oil/butter to heat up in the pan before adding food to the cookware. DO NOT rush the preheating process by using high heat. Because of the excellent heat conductivity of your OXO cookware, food and oil can carbonize very rapidly. Always cook on low to medium heat and only use high heat for boiling liquids. Use medium-high heat for searing, sauteing, stir-frying and reducing liquids. Use low heat to warm foods, simmer or for preparing delicate sauces. DO NOT use any typeof oil sprays, including aerosols, mist and pump sprays. These sprays can cause residue build-up that is difficult to remove from all types of cookware. Always distribute the oil evenly onto the surface of the cookware. Use the 'butter test' to determine whether your OXO cookware is hot enough--simply wipe a dab of butter on the bottom of the cookware. If it bubbles briskly without burning, your OXO cookware is perfectly preheated."I myself have only used it to make pancakes. I also disobeyed instructions by using a metal spatula. It was fine for the pancakes, and I don't think I scratched the surface, but that is something else they warn against.

Answer:	Yes you can.
Question:	I just received this griddle; it doesn't seem that the bottom will actually touch my induction cooktop.Will it work if it doesnt touch the surface
Answer:	Works great on our induction cooktop on either side. Heats very rapidly if you want, but of course the way to heat cast iron is slowly so it comes to the temp you want to cook at. Cast iron is of course way better than the clad cookware that can get loud from vibrations as the different layers absorb the magnetic energy at different rates. This also doubles as a great defrosting plate from stuff from the freezer. Your great-great grandchildren will be glad you bought this as they're using it.

Answer:	I just copies and pasted this from their website. If you're buying a thermalon greenlife pan, then no. "No. Thermolon is a natural ceramic coating. No PTFE, PFAS, PFOA, lead or cadmium."
Question:	Do the lids fit the frying pans
Answer:	Hi, yes the lids from the skillet will fit the 9.5 inch frypan and the 2qt saucepan lid will fit the 7 inch frypan.
Question:	Someone mentioned that they won't stick if they are used correctly....what is the correct use
Answer:	These pans are amazing... this is actually the 2nd set of Greenlife we've purchased and the Diamond series is much better than the original pans they sell. Correct use is using a lower heat oil: coconut spray, ghee, sesame oil work fine. You need no oil with these most of the time, which is why we purchased them. Olive oil, high heat, steel wool pads, and metal utensils will ruin these pans. Make sure you cook on low to medium heat always, use the nylon utensils that come with it (or wooden versions), soft sponges to clean it, and you should be fine. No food sticks, so you won't need anything abrasive to clean them. They conduct heat VERY well, so medium heat = high heat with most cookware. Hope this helps!
Question:	Anyone have it for longer than 3 months? How long does the no stick last
Answer:	The nonstick worked for 10 months. The pan was well maintained....never in the dishwasher, no harsh cleaning, only appropriate utensils, etc. Visibly, there are no marks or scratches. Pan looks new, but every thing sticks, now. Would buy again. 10 months ok!

Question:	Is it safe for ceramic top stoves and what special procedures are needed to not damage stovetop
Answer:	I have not had any issues with using it on a ceramic stove. No precautions have been needed. This is my second pan. This last one did not set evenly on the stove. The first one did. Luck of the draw?
Question:	Can this be used on a gas stove
Answer:	The Rachael Ray 87659 Cucina Hard Anodized Nonstick Griddle Pan is suitable for gas stovetops.
Question:	Does the tip of the handle without the silicone on it, get real hot
Answer:	It did not.
Question:	can it be used on induction cook top
Answer:	I don’t have an induction cooktop and the description does not say that it can be used on induction cooktops, so I would say no. Unless you have one of those pans that you put under a pan so you can use it on an induction. My daughter has an induction cooktop and she bought new pots and pans to use on it, but she also got a flat pan that you can put non induction cookware on top of, so they will work on an induction cooktop.

Question:	Can i use a wire brush to clean these
Answer:	I would NOT, if you need a wire brush after using these pans,then you better turn the heat down. A little soap and hot water and maybe a plastic scrubber, is all you need.
Question:	Do they have induction plates in bottom
Answer:	Bought this item based upon somebody else’s comment that it is induction capable. It is not, this pan is out of Aluminum and therefore not magnetic.
Question:	Are these bottoms flat or will my oil collect in the corners
Answer:	They are flat in my opinion. I took pictures but can’t get it to attach.
Question:	Does anybody elses warp up in the middle when heated
Answer:	Yes! It was fine/ unnoticeable for sandwiches, but when it warms up, the metal domes and any oil pools to the edges, which is dangerous with such a shallow side. Never been above medium heat, used 3 times. Also surface scratches from nylon spatula already! DON'T put it it the dishwasher (even though it says "dishwaher safe"! Water got into the paint and it blistered until it dried out. Where it scratched it with my fingernail, the paint came off to the metal. This is some cheap crap, I think we've been had, lol.
