You would have about a 10% chance at being stopped but the agent would have to be a special kind of person make a big ordeal over something that "could be used as a weapon" instead of being looked at as a tool for survival and at that point just toss it out and keep the backup/extra cord in your luggage, or just mail it to yourself if you have or know of your next/temp address. If you'd like to know more about pretty much everything, and if I don't know, give me a few mins to research. Answer:	Yes. Please read the results of my test. I got one of my bracelets and I placed it in a bowl of water for five minutes. Here is what happened:1. The whistle still worked. When you blow at first, some water might come out. However, it still makes loud noise and the water will clear out after a second of blowing. 2. The compass still worked.3. The fire starter still worked after I wiped off the magnesium bar and scraper. It won't spark while the water is still on it (as expected). 4. The paracord itself did not lose any strength from being wet. It will take some time to dry (as expected).

Question:	How do know if it will fit . I have a large wrist
Answer:	This isn't one of the larger paracord bracelets available. It is about 8-3/4 inches or 22.2 cm measured flat (including the closed buckle length), however, the buckle is flat so that reduces the diameter a bit. I have fairly large wrists and it's tight. I actually bought this to wrap around an Altoids tin mini survival kit and it's about 1-inch too short. I can barely manage to squeeze it on to a Kirkland 16.9/500ml plastic water bottle. I hope these size references are useful to you.
