Answer:	Compared to similar mylar blankets, they are sturdier and longer lasting. However, they will puncture, and they will tear. They are not like regular blankets, not like tarps or similar things. They are not made for rough handling, but for heat and protection while sleeping or in emergency situations.
Question:	Would this work to put under a sheet in a crib to keep babies bed warm
Answer:	They do work for an outside feral cat I am caring for. I put a sheet under a blanket to keep cat warm and it is warm. but cat was scared of the the crunching sound. I used one blanket and it keeps you warm. I believe putting one under baby blanket would help keep baby warm.
Question:	How many microns in thickness
Answer:	don't know the micron. it does have a mesh-like structure, almost like ripstop. it is light and durable. thicker than what foil balloons are made of but thinner and more flexible than tinfoil. I have worn it in -30 F and its worked wonders.

Answer:	It is a mylar emergency blanket in the shape of a sleeping bag. It is for emergencies, not in place of our addition to a sleeping bag.

Answer:	It is mylar, and mylar does make some sound when moving around on it. But mylar is absolutely the best emergency blanket/bivy material there is. Not something to use instead of a sleeping bag for camping, but the best thing you can keep around for emergencies.

You either sleep cold or warm when sleeping outdoors; if you are warm in a 35 degree bag when it's 35 degrees outside you sleep warm. Woman sleep colder than Men. Answer:	My personal answer is no way. 2 very skinny and exceptionally friendly people, perhaps. I carry a Texsport Saguaro in my sea kayak as an emergency bivy shelter and it serves that role very well. At these prices you could each have your own tent.

Answer:	Yes. If you want to enlarge them faster, you could try to soak them under warm water and then pop them in the dryer on air cycle for a few minutes, to let them expand to the advertised size. Some panels you may have to soak more than once. Before you put them onto the walls, please wipe down the walls to remove any dust to make sure they are clean enough, otherwise the panels may fall off soon. Spray adhesive or hot glue gun are recommended to use. Please place the panels correctly at the first time. If you don't, the glue sticks to the foam pretty good so you will rip it. Don't stick them directly to the wall, because when you need to remove them, you may damage the walls. You could use a cardboard or poster board to paste the foams on it first, and then fix the cardboard to the wall.

Answer:	I do not think it is metal. It is the color of the mylar. I believe it is added in manufacture. I have seen other colors

Answer:	That's what I use them for. I used 3M spray glue to affix them to the walls of the coolers I used. But yes they would make a slightly crinkly nois. However you should put straw (not hay) on the bottom of any shelter you make. Cats like straw. Straw makes noise too. I built a fancy shelter around the coolers.

Answer:	Think of these as an emergency survival blanket, not really meant to be used multiple times for camping, etc. Though technically they could be saved and used again as long as they aren't damaged or torn, that's not really their intended use.

Answer:	No snow temperatures are below freezing this will not keep you warm over night a couple hours at best in those conditions I’d go big and buy quality like my LIFE DEPENDED ON IT! Lol

Answer:	they are kinda see through. a little bit. but if you are looking for a window covering you can see through this would not be it. but they are great (though a bit tacky) for windows. cut a solid 10 degrees off my apartment this summer.

Answer:	They'd be better than nothing in any environment for a short period of time. I'm guessing the optimum value of these or anything Mylar would be between 20 and 50 Fahrenheit for heat. For circumstances south of that range you'd better have a plan for an alternate source of heat.
Question:	are these packed all together or one in each pkg
Answer:	It is in my bug out bag and I haven't looked at it in quite a while. I know I got it rated for Alabama weather so prbobably 15-20 degrees maximum.
Question:	I think someone is ripping me off because I only got one blanket instead of the advertised 10. They seem to be doing this a lot
Answer:	Yes, they are reusable if you are careful when first using them. Obviously, they are subject to tearing if used roughly or stored carelessly. They are meant to be used in an emergency when expedited action is indicated -- like in a sudden and unexpected evacuation order.
Question:	If used for feral cats or insulating a doghouse would it work on floor under cloth blanket? or on top of blanket
Answer:	I think the bivvy is a better quality. These are slightly cheaper. It will get the job done in a pinch but it is still prone to rips easily. I hope this answer helps in your decision. Thanks.

Question:	are these reuseable
Answer:	Look on their description (I don't remember). They are super-thin and see-through (if you shine a light behind them). They are not so much of a "blanket" but rather just some thin film...too thin to make a shelter of them. If you're looking for something for an emergency, you want the ones that have an orange plastic outside, that run around $29 each...or the black, super thick ones that run around $50 each (search for Emergency Mylar Sleeping Bag). I have both and pack the thin ones to line a shelter if need be, or reflect the sun off one.
Question:	I'm looking for extra warmth for winter tent camping. Needs to be compact but able to repackaged in the bag. Will these easily go back in their bags
Answer:	I forget how many "microns," but if you're thinking "blanket" as in the type you put on your bed, you're way of. Think more in terms of big sheets of thin but strong paper made from fibers of metal and polymers. When used as an emergency blanket, they will reflect body heat back to the wearer. Or i used for emergency shelter in summer, they reflect light and reduce the shaded temp underneath. we used them to retain moisture and reduce daytime temps in the Sonoran Desert for sapling trees we were transplanting. They worked great. more efficient as easier to work with than plastic tarps.

Question:	How is this different from “the world’s toughest emergency blanket?” why pay more for this product then similar 5x7 emergency blankets
Answer:	These reflect body heat back to you and act as a wind block. They are very thin and come in a small pouch. Not sure how they would hold up with repeated use. I bought these for my 400 elementary students and 50 staff members in the event we needed to evacuate the school during winter. These would prevent students from freezing until help arrived. I think they would benefit the homeless.

Answer:	54"x84". My husband is 6 foot and, although this would cover him in height, it would NOT wrap completely around him (he is height/weight proportionate). He would have to have 2 in order to get the full benefit.
Question:	Can they be reused (if donated to a homeless person, how long could 1 blanket be reused by that same homeless person,) for 1-2 weeks, then discarded
Answer:	Of the 10 pack, each blanket is folded to about 4" x 2.5" and individually packaged into a labeled zip-lock type bag.

Question:	What size is the blanket when opened up
Answer:	I remember years ago I purchased a silver liner product designed to go under the sheets on my own bed, to retain body heat while I slept and save on heating costs. I lived in a house that was difficult to heat, so I thought it was a great idea. HOWEVER, it turned out the waterproof silver bed liner also trapped moisture and I woke up laying in a very damp sheet, and wet night clothes, which was very uncomfortable. I think this Mylar blanket should work for animals too, but if you plan to use it under the animals I suggest you put something between the liner and your animals, something like cedar shavings, or straw, or old blankets which can be changed out easily. That might protect the liner longer too. Using this product to line the interior walls of the doghouse might be a better idea than lining the floor. I think that's how I plan to try using it. I bet I could use a spay on adhesive and just stick it to the walls. It's worth a try!
