Answer:	It only has 2 brightness levels, but you do not need to cycle through them to turn it off. Short press changes mode...Long press of about a second cuts it off. Very simple and basic. I would suggest that you get 14500 batteries for the added brightness. I really do like the light for its convenience. It has a combination beam with a brighter center spot and reasonable flood. The magnet is convenient at times.

Price has gone up $2 since I purchased it at $9.99 but its still a GREAT light and I love the fact that it used 1-AA battery. puts out a lot of light, fits in the palm of your hand and runs on a readily available power source.

Answer:	There is no indication that the battery is replaceable. If it were, it would probably cost more than a new flashlight anyway. When/if it gives out, you'd throw the battery away anyhow. That is the bigger pollutant than the rest of the plastic case. With all due respect to the environment, I'd say it's a minor worry.

Question:	Do I have to press the button 3 times to put it off
Answer:	wow some say there is a charging light somewhere on the solar panel with your unable to see during the day at the very bottom if you unscrew the cap where you would normally plug in the charger or plug in your phone charger you will see that there is a red light when you plug it into a standard socket. so hypothetically that red light should come on when it's charging in the Sun. Or at least mine comes on when it is charging

Answer:	I don't know what warranty they have either, however I purchased a few of them in July 2019 and now in November 2020 my first one is failing. After a full charge it turns off after about 15 seconds lighting.

Answer:	Depends on how much it is used, or how it is stored. But if you store it indoors and charge it up once a year, it could last 5 to 10+ years.

That's more than 2 revs of the charger PER SECOND for FOUR HOURS. There are 3600 seconds in an hour, so that's more than 2 x 3600 x 4 revolutions or about 30,000 revolutions in total. These small hand-crank devices need to be thought of for providing an hour or two of LED light or radio reception, or maybe getting a few short calls out of a dead cell phone. Solar will not be much better, even in direct sun. Key is to keep this charged fully at all times and rely on the internal battery for much longer run time and/or a much more significant charge to your cell phone.

Answer:	The flashlight on High is 140 lumens. The flashlight on low is 56 lumens. The main lantern on high is 120 lumens. The main lantern on low is 56 lumens. The table lantern on high is 60 lumens and the table lantern on low is 20 lumens. These lumen counts have been calculated by engineers at our factory. We have side by side compared our numbers with other flashlights and lanterns and have always found that our luminous output is higher compared the same numbers of others.

Answer:	We love our 2 XTorches! Gave some as Christmas presents. I called the company for information about charging the devices with solar. They were very helpful, and I learned about solar charging. I recommend that you fully charge the Torch with electricity, then keep it in a south facing window to keep it charged. But if you want more info call the company directly. They were very nice to talk with.

Answer:	Your XTorches may need to be charged when they arrive. That being said, we have never had any that were discharged during shipping - this is new one for us. We check each XTorch before they go out the door. And the charged battery self life is more than three year. I assume you are pressing the round button that is the on/off control. The green battery gauge lights should go on. But, if you have any problems at all, let me send you a new one, that I will double check, so you can compare it to the two you bought.
