Answer:	I use this candle in the candle holder/chandelier, which gets quite hot, and I even burned myself on it. But it is just a candle, like any other, and I would think it would react in the same way as another type of candle. (although it's supposed to be longer burning because of bees wax)But I suppose if you want to use it for heating, I would not think it sufficient to give off enough heat...but then, I did not use it in a tent...so that I could not say.
