Question:	What blade angle does it come with? Fine edge implies 20 degrees but I might be wrong
Answer:	Typically "Fine Edge" actually refers to a knife with no serrations. Combo Edge would imply a portion of the cutting edge that has serrations, more often found near the handle, but that is not always the case. These knives are sharpened by hand, one at a time on a belt so the edge may vary from one piece to another. The angle is typically 40-50 degrees inclusive, meaning 20-25 degrees per side. That gives you a good balance of cutting performance while avoiding the edge from chipping or rolling, blade hardness notwithstanding. The lower the angle the lower the physical toughness of the cutting edge, may or may not be applicable to your needs.

Answer:	They did. Gerber made a limited run of StrongArm knives in BDZ-1 stainless steel, uncoated, grey handle. Think I paid $62-ish for mine here on Amazon. They still pop up at a certain famous auction site from time to time.

Answer:	Honestly, I think it's the same knife from different sellers. The picture looks the exact same. In any case, it's a pretty good knife, a little tight to open, but that's better than too loose. I don't think Gerber offers the same style knife in different steel qualities. I bought the one certified by Amazon just in case it was wrong and I had to return it. That's usually the safest bet. Good luck!

Question:	Can I use other sheaths with the ankle wrap
Answer:	I don't have the ankle wrap, I bought mine a few years back.. the ghoststrike sheath is a pretty tight fit, I suppose you could as long as the screws and rivets line up (without punching holes in the wrap). I think you'll be happy with the Gerber sheath though.
Question:	Is this knife supposed to be sharp when you get it? I tried to cut arm hair and nothing. I tried to slice through paper and it doesnt slice
Answer:	Well in my opinion all knives should be sharp when new. I don't expect it to be a razor but it's always nice if it is. This knife that I got was dull to the point it was dangerous to use. Had to hack or dig at anything I wanted cut. Used a whet stone on it to get it where I think is accepttable.
Question:	Will it come with both ankle wrap and belt mount
Answer:	It comes in the belt mount . The ankle strap is included along with extra screws to mount on ankle wrap .
Question:	Is this knife for protection, or can it actually be used to cut things (say, branches, etc. in the woods
Answer:	They make Kaiser blades and machetes for cutting branches. A knife 10 inches in length or shorter is made for spilling guts not cutting limbs. It is not of any value if someone takes it from you and cute you up with it because you do not know what you’re doing. Hope that helps

Answer:	I have several Gerber knives, including this one, and none have that symbol; that all have the traditional sword/shield looking symbol. Mine are great. I looked further into this and that logo is a logo that was retired in 2005. This information is posted in the about us - history page on Gerber's website. I would have confidence buying this knife, as long as you understand that it is an older make of it.

Answer:	This is just a guess, but I think 46009 is the 'clam', while 06009 is the box. As of this writing, the boxed version is about $5 cheaper so, unless there's some special reason you want it in the more difficult to open 46009 'clam' package, I'd get the 06009 box.
