Question:	How much do these weigh? I am looking for lightweight socks to sleep in for backpacking
Answer:	Hmmmm....I would not consider these lightweight. They are kind of thick and like fleece but I bet they would be nice for backpacking. They are wonderful for cooler temps if that is what you are looking for. I like the way they are shaped by the stitching into a boot type of shape. Keep in mind that they are on the large size. I bought the small and they am a womans size 8 1/2 and they are very roomy which is better than being too small. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I wear a size 10B woman's show, and have found that the large is a little snug for my wide calves, but they fit. My mom wears a size 9 1/2 B shoe with wide calves, and she finds the size large a perfect fit. So I would guess a medium would fit a size 7.5/8 would fit just fine.

Answer:	I bought these because I am a hunter, and as a hunter, I sit still for long periods of time in very cold conditions. I used to have heated insoles in my boots to help keep my feet warm. These socks are advertised as "heated" socks - but they are NOT heated. They are just really thick socks with no heating element. They are so thick that depending on what boots you wear, it might be difficult to fit your feet in your boots when wearing these. I do not recommend them. They are not returnable.

Apparently they did at one point, but now this Chinese company is pulling a bait and switch and LYING on their listing. However, I wore them only intermittantly over a week or so, and tried my best to allow them to totally dry out between wearings. I was not always successful with this, but did not notice an odor. I did wash them by hand when I got home and allowed them to totally dry and I've noticed no odor.

Answer:	I did find that there was some leakage the longer I was in the water. However, I was using these in a lake and spent a fair amount of time with my feet in the water.

Answer:	I did not find that my feet were 100% dry when I wore these socks, but I was wading in water and there was also some leakage around the ankle. However, I was pretty impressed with how little water did make it through the material.

Answer:	Hello,the manufacturer states they will fit 6.5-10 (U.S.). I am size 8 exactly and have slightly narrow feet. I tried on all pairs and they all fit perfectly well and the manufacture seems uniform between pairs. They are rather more vibrant than suggested by the pictures, which was an unexpected positive. They are quite soft, and warm. However, they are NOT Carhart's -40 rated super thick socks (or similar) so they will fall short for people with unrealistic expectations...like blaming a Fiat because it ISN'T a Ferrari. They do the job I wanted them to do. Actually, I plan to buy some more.
