Question:	Do the side flaps come off or fold outward all the way so that a longer griddle can be used
Answer:	Yes they fold out, so if its not windy you can have a larger pot pan or griddle, Does the back come off though? the Eureka spires does.
Question:	Is there an attachment for the hose from a 20 lb propane bottle
Answer:	It is not included, but you can certainly purchase one. We attach ours to our trailers quick disconnect still using the sm bottle attachment.
Question:	Will this support the lodge 20" by 10.44 inch griddle without removing the wind flaps
Answer:	i got it out and measured it. it will take the griddle you present. 3/4 inch space each end of 20 inches with wings up. the 10 inch side has 3/4 in in back and no limit in front. hope this was helpful.
Question:	I've never purchased a camping stove before and not sure what to expect--in all regards....really... :) But, to be clear, do I need to purchase a hose and/or connector for a propane tank or does that come with the purchase of the stove
Answer:	You will need a hose to connect to a large propane tank but there is a connector for the small bottles. BTW, this stove is the bomb. When we lost power this past Thanksgiving, EVERYTHING that needed to be cooked on a stovetop we cooked on this stove because the turkey was in the oven and our generator wouldn't support the oven and burners. The stove performed wonderfully!

Question:	Where is it made from
Answer:	Looking at the previous answers, looks like it used to be made in the usa, but now it looks like it's made in china. In the product details, it says it's made in china as of 5-28-17.
Question:	can i use it without the legs? or what's the lowest i can adjust the legs to
Answer:	No, you cannot use it without the legs. I looked at this too. The propane connection assembly extends lower than the metal shield around the burner. The legs do not have a lot of adjustment, maybe an inch or two. I have the stove packed away with my camping gear and cannot verify the exact amount of adjustment or lowest cooking height.
Question:	I would purchase this to do pressure canning outside. Is there a problem with the weight of a full canner
Answer:	Weight is not the issue with outside canning..... Too much heat on the thin aluminum canner bottoms is the issue. https://www.healthycanning.com/pressure-canner-heat-source/#heat-source-too-high Most everyone agrees to definitely avoid any “turkey fryer” propane heaters because of the high heat required to boil the oil to fry the turkey would damage many canners. Some people say, however, that there are some safe outdoor heat sources — ones with adjustable temperature controls such as the Camp Chef line.  “Only Camp Chef brand 2 burner stove on low is the only safe one we know of.”  4
Question:	How much weight can this handle? I am hosting a lobster bake so I am figuring about 45 pounds/ 21kg will be on the unit at any given time. Thank you
Answer:	I came here to look up this answer. I can say that I've had mine since 2015 and have routinely mashed and boiled wort on the burner. Over 7 gallons. Which would be around 56 pounds. I may have even doubled this up once with two batches at the same time.

Question:	Is the current model with built-in temperature sensor in the console or separate temperature sensor for the oven ? In the reviews I can see both model
Answer:	Hi, Patrick. The newer version such as the ones I have and the stainless steel model show here do indeed have a built in temperature gauge/thermometer. If you look closely at the front you will see three gas dials. Left controls left burner.Right the right burner and the middle one controls oven. if you look closely between the middle (oven) gas dial and the right (right stove burner) gas dial you can see the oven temp gauge. Remember this is just a temp gauge only, not a true thermostat. You control oven temp manually by turning your oven gas dial. You can also slightly open door for a minute or so, too, if need be. I do not believe it is as difficult to regulate oven temp as some might lead you to believe. Also both of my ovens temp gauges are SPOT ON accurate. I checked them with several additional thermometers. You will not regret this purchase. I use these ovens for everything from baking cookies and cakes and pastries to casseroles and roasting meats when I have catering gigs that require extra oven space. just remember to occassional turn your pans by 180 degress and swap from top to bottom (items cooking on bottom get moved to top shelf and top shelf item to bottom shelf) occassionally and nothing will burn or scorch. Heck you might very well already have to do that with your home oven.
Question:	can this be used indoors for self sustainable living if the propane tank is kept outside and connection is through the wall
Answer:	There's a serious safety/health issue if used indoors. I doubt that any indoor use is approved, but if you must, the room that the stove is in MUST have plenty of fresh air ventilation. Otherwise the burning propane will consume all the oxygen in the room, leaving just carbon monoxide for the people, which will put you to sleep, then kill you. I'm sure everyone has heard about entire families dying due to a faulty heater. Well, the Camp Chef is a great stove/oven, but it makes a very faulty heater.

Question:	I'm looking for an oven for an rv. Now I'd imagine I'd have to probably open a window when in use but how hot does it get to the touch on the outside
Answer:	Don't use an oven designed for cooking outdoors inside an RV. Most people never use their factory installed RV oven anyway. The most they use are the top burners. I am not comfortable cooking with gas so in my RV I used to use a reg electric hot plate. Just ordered an induction cooking single burner thing. But seriously, don't mess around w your safety. RV fires are no joke.

Answer:	You can use a 16" deep griddle that covers two burners (Model: SG90 or CGG24B) and a small bbq box (Model: BB100L) that covers one burner at the same time. You could also get a BBQ box (Model: BB90L or BB90LS) that would cover two burners and a griddle (SG14 or CGG16B) that would cover 1 burner at the same time.
Question:	I’ve been thinking of building a table top and setting this up as a semi-permanent outdoor stove. What kind of durability would it have with such use
Answer:	I really couldn't say. It burns hot so I'm not sure it could safely have the frame enclosed. Hopefully someone else will have a better answer for you.

Answer:	It looks the same. I looked at the Academy website and it adds the griddle. All other specs are the same as the unit I have. This is a very good buy. I don’t always use the unit but I can say I love it. Mainly used for canning.

Answer:	I just pressure canned 80 pounds of chicken breast on my back patio using this stove. It was fabulous. Maintained even heat temperature so i didn't have to constantly readjust temp control knob.

Answer:	It will using a wok ring. These are perfect burner output for a 15 inch cast iron wok.

Answer:	I don't see why you can't use a 9 inch pot . You probable won't need to use the high setting. If exesive flame becomes an issue . Camp chef makes a flame tamer plate that you can use to eliminate exesive flame .

Answer:	No the stove box does not come with stove. Just the stove minus the propane tank. I love my camp stove but I have never used the barbecue box. I do have the griddle.
Question:	can it be used without the legs attached? i have an outdoor concrete countertop id like to use it on
Answer:	I was told be camp chef that yes it can, but will heat up/burn whatever it is sitting on, so don't use it on a wood picnic table or plastic tailgate guards. Best option is to set it on its legs next to whatever you thought about setting it on.

Answer:	The only problem I see using it indoors is the propane bottle if you use a 20lb tank. The fumes would be a problem.

Answer:	The hose to connect the unit to a 'grill' type bulk tank is sold separately. You can run it off the small propane canisters- about a 2 hrs time. The hose assy is under $30.00 so I would recommend going that route. I have the hose and the tank and it works great!

Answer:	Yes, without a doubt. There are a lot of people who know very, very little about propane and the heaters and stoves that use it. They feel the need to be everyones "nanny" and save everyone from themselves. The fact is that propane burns very cleanly with no discernible carbon monoxide produced and oxygen starvation simply a rumour, "somebody knew somebody who once knew somebody who did something with propane and they died......." nonsense. That being said, if you use propane indoors as a cooking fuel or as heat you need to also mount a CO detector and an oxygen depletion alarm just so your mommy doesn't piss her pants when she hears about what you're doing. BTW, it is a good idea to have some serious ventilation going on in vans and campers just for mold suppression as well as general air circulation and air recycling. The small space needs air movement just for general purposes.

Answer:	For anyone buying this in the future, the hose connection is easily reversible on the two burner stove. Two phillips screws and less than a minute. So yes the hose connection can be moved to the left side quickly and easily.

Answer:	I use this stove inside and put the propane tank under the counter . Typically you would use copper line with a compression fitting but I just used the line that came with it.

Answer:	Interesting question. 1. Yes, you can convert LPG Propane appliance to Natural Gas Methane appliance. 2. To convert from one gas to another, the two most common alterations are the sizing of the gas injector and the adjustment of pressure. 3. Answer:	It has pretty good adjustable gas flow. It should be able to simmer.
Question:	How wide is the cup? Thinking of using a jetboil French press
Answer:	I have both. the updated jetboil French press with the orange silicone ring works great. The older press with the tiny slots around the edge works terribly. Also, with everything packed into the cup there’s no room for the press, so I store it all inside the net bag. Press at the bottom of the bag, then the cup with everything inside, press handle rods beside the cup inside the bag, spork/utensils same as the rods. Everything remains intact and I’ve used this method for the past 3 years with no failures or broken parts. I go camping every few weeks, and I’ll spend between 4-14 days out at a time. Nothing but success so far. Be sure to get the press with the silicone rim ring! Good luck

Answer:	Depends at what altitude you will be using it and how much you want to spend for fuel the higher the altitude the more propane you will use but propane is cheaper

Question:	Is there a way to set it so that the flame does not make my pot get black soot
Answer:	If the air adjustment isn't making much difference in changing your yellow flame to an even blue flame you might have a spider web in the burner throat. Get a piece of wire coat hanger or similar item and poke it up through the air inlet kinda moving it so it rubs the circular sides of the passage as it moves toward the main body of the burner. I've had to do this many times with burners from various propane cookers. Even a high pressure jet burner on a deep fryer. You'd think the propane would blow it out but it doesn't. This has cured the yellow flame, black pot issue for me a dozen times or so.
Question:	my controls get very hot is that ok
Answer:	I have not had any issues with the controls getting hot. I would definitely contact the manufacturer and let them know this.

Answer:	It depends on the size of your stove. Even with a stove that takes up much of the table top, the disposable tanks are attached and so they don't fall off.

Question:	Are the individual bags insulated? Looks like you could use one drawer for short-term ice storage? We're looking to use this as a portable bar
Answer:	Yes, this system could easily be used as a bar. Only the blue bag is insulated to work as a cooler, but you could always buy insulated cooler bags or lunch boxes to put into the other drawers. I did an experiment for my blog at Camp Like Home dot com. I was able to fit 14 cans of food into one bag. If 14 cans of food will fit, so will 14 cans of soda or beer. I would suggest stocking your bar after you arrive at camp because the overall system would be super heavy to move if you stocked all of the bags with drinks. This unit will support a lot of weight in a standing position, but I wouldn't want to actually carry or transport it with all of that weight.

Answer:	There is no drip tray. With the heat it seems to burn off. I've had no issues with cooking on it thus far.

Answer:	Yes and No, the box fits with the wind screen in place, but when you lift the lid, it hits the wind screen and you can't open it all the way.
Question:	I have an expedition 3X stove and am curious if anyone has this grill box and uses it with the two burner griddle? I'd like to know if it fits
Answer:	I have the same stove. This grill box fits, but is not made for the 16" stoves.i just got it and haven't used it yet, but intend to use it on the side of my 2 burner griddle. The grill box sits a little crooked as one side of it hits the lip of the grill, but it seems it should work. There does not seem to be a 1 burner grill box option for the expedition series 3 burner stove.
Question:	Anyone used this thing to smoke/ grill meat before? Trip tip? Chicken wings? Any tips would be great
Answer:	We used it to grill steaks and hamburgers out at our hunting shack and it worked just fine. Keep an eye on it though because there isn't a lot of space between the burner and the grill and it will flame up. Can't see trying to smoke anything with it......just not built for that kind or process
