User questions & answers
Question: | How about the pioneer plx? does it fit |
Answer: | Yes it does. I have a pioneer LLC 1000 and a rane12 and the both fit perfectly. |
Question: | Hola es para mixer Mackie |
Answer: | No !, Esta Es Perfecta Para Turntable Universal... Pero, Tambien Debes Pedirla Con La Medida Para Mixer. Te La Recomiendo... |
Question: | Will this case fit a Technics 1200 with a dust cover if the foam block on the lid is modified |
Answer: | If the lid is modified, it probably could. However, it defeats the point of keeping the turntable in a tight, safe cushion during travel. |
Question: | Will the audio technica L120 usb fit inthis case |
Answer: | While I have not personally tried to fit an AT L120 into this case the AT L120 turntable specs are pretty close to the legendary Technics 1200 which I am 100% certain fits in this case as does the Pioneer PLX 1000. I have no doubt that the AT L120 would also fix very nicely into this case. One more tidbit of information - if you want a heavier duty version of this Odyssey case I would recommend going with their "black" series as the construction of the case is twice as good in my humble opinion. Cheers. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does the black finish scratch off the metal easily? Looks great when new, just wondering how it will look after some use |
Answer: | It doesn't scratch off easily. I've had mine for years and the only part that has scratched off are the corners of the case... which is to be expected after lots of road use. I also have mine stickered up, but nothing out of the ordinary in terms of wear on the black finish. |
Question: | Will it fit the 1200 technics with the dust cover on |
Answer: | I do not believe so, I think the fit is too tight. You kind of get rid of the use for dust covers by getting the cases, so it's a nice change. |
Question: | Will this case fit a PLX? can you fit a decksaver with a turntable inside the case for extra protection |
Answer: | The Pioneer PLX 1000 turntable fits just as well as a Technics 1200 turntable. I would not recommend a deck saver inside the case while transporting - there would be no support for the platter if the case is on its side or is turned upside down, the platter would fall off. There is foam in the lid that will press against the turntable platter to keep it secure when the case is closed. |
Question: | Does this model have a pre-drilled hole for the power cord, RCA and ground cables |
Answer: | There is, but it’s on the side of the case, covered by a thin metal sheet that can be removed. However, it’s more convenient for me to run the cables top side. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does it come with the foam and does it fit for plx 500 k turntables |
Answer: | It does come with foam and I have my plx1000 TTs in there nicely--and it's good with the djm-450 mixer as well. Overall very happy with this case. |
Question: | How heavy is this thing fully loaded with 2plx 1000 and a djm450 mixer and all the cables |
Answer: | It’s really heavy. I use a dolly to haul it around even tho there’s wheels on it. Coffin is about 50lbs. Plx-1000 are about 30lbs each. Mixer is about 10lbs. Cables, maybe another 5lbs. So about 125lbs, but feels a lot more since the only way to carry it is with the handle. 2 people for sure, but it’s worth the trouble because set-up and take down is quick, easy and fast for a vinyl rig set-up. Everything is pretty much connected. Just plug to power and speakers and your set. |
Question: | will this fit a traktor z2 mixer and 2 numark pro tt-2 turntables |
Answer: | Im using my traktor z2 in this case and it fits well. There are foam cushings to install.to make it fit like a glove. If you're numark turntables are anything like the Audiotechnica, then they should fit. Even if your not sure if they're the same, more than likely it will fit. |
Question: | Does it have wheels |
Answer: | Yes |

Question: | Does a DJM-750 fit in this coffin |
Answer: | I'm not sure, I have a Pioneer DJM S9, and it fits perfect. If your DJM 750 is the same in diameter of the S9 then it should be ok. It does however have extra pads on the side that could come out. hope I've answer your question. Practice and enjoy. |
Question: | Hello! Are there holes pre-drilled between the cabinetry to run cables |
Answer: | Yes .. There multiple pre cut holes ..on both sides of the mixer space.. And one on the bottom of case to run power cable underneath also. |
Question: | Does this come with the needles |
Answer: | This isn’t a turntable setup up so there is nothing included with this item other than a case to place your turntables in |
Question: | will this fit the Rane 12's and 72 mixer |
Answer: | Depending on the size of the Rane mixer and 12's it may fit. I would recommend contacting Odessy help desk and see what answer they can give you. |

Question: | can you scratch |
Answer: | That's an odd question. If you are asking if the case prevents you from scratching, then I would say no. I use SL1200s and a Rane 57 mixer and I think the case is great. |
Question: | I know this is a dumb question, but what is the outside like? Is it flat? Or is it that fuzzy stuff? Looking to spray paint a stencil on the side |
Answer: | Its a black plastic laminate that can take a stencil, no problem. |
