Answer:	Typically 6 steaks (1 lb each). 6-10 hamburgers. Mostly depends on the size of your grill. For larger needs or some that might require longer cooking, I pour the burning coals on to of unlit coals and let them transfer the heat.

Answer:	Starting campfires is precisely the reason I purchased these in the first place... They work like a charm, in fact, much better than kindling because very small pieces of wood incinerate quickly where this has a nice slow burn which will help get your fire started. Here's a piece of advice, if you're not already doing so dig a small hole at the bottom of your fire pit to shield wind from these cubes. It's just about the only drawback of these things that I can say. Their heat is not intense and are prone to being blown out in the right wind conditions. If you just having small campfires these things are fantastic. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I pretty sure it would melt if placed inside as you state. Only the stem of the device should be exposed to the heat and remainder outside of the oven.

Answer:	I would steer clear of the analog models like this one. I bought this and mounted it on my smoker and as long as the temp is low, it is accurate. I bought a maverick redi chek a few months later (too notch) and realized that this analog model may creep way past your desired temp but display a lower temp. So the thermometer might show 230 but the temp is actually 300+. If you can swing it, I would go with the better model, such as maverick et732.

Answer:	Not sure of the size, but it smaller than 1/2" NPT.
Question:	Will this work with brass door knobs if I'm home alone and want to deter a duo of home bandits
Answer:	The drawing shows 3/8", but that is tight, so will need to ream that hole a bit. Or you could just drill a 7/16" hole, which works out well. In either case, be sure to start with a pilot hole or you will ruin the enamel coating of your BBQ.

I did however purchase "Cultures for Health Bulgarian Yogurt Starter Culture" here on amazon. It came with really good instructions & tons of tips & other info on their website. My first batch with the Starter was very thin, but had a good clean yogurt smell so i used it for my next bad.. the next was still a bit thin but by my 3rd batch I was getting a good taste & texture. You can also use a good store bought yogurt as your starter as well. The ones I tried that worked well where Activa & Stonyfield whole milk plain yogurt, both of these provided a decent yogurt. Flavorings can be added right before the yogurt is served. Sweet options include fresh or preserved fruit, honey, molasses, palm sugar, jam, and flavored syrups. All you need to make homemade yogurt is a half gallon of milk and about a half cup of yogurt. Whole or 2% milk will make the thickest, creamiest yogurt, but you can also use skim milk if you like. Firestarters Inflame. The burning time of one firestarter is from 10 to 12 minutes. It will easily start burning large pieces of wood, coal, brown coal, briquette, pellets and even wet wood. Our firestarters do not have harmful residues that affect the taste of barbecue food (food should be placed on the grill after the firearm has completely burnt out). Instruction of use: in the place where the lighting will take place (grill/ fireplace /bonfire /cauldron), place the firelighter as close to the material to be lit (wood /coal) as possible, and then light up. In case of a grill, the food should be placed on the grill after the firelighter is completely burned out.

Question:	How do these work with a chimney starter for charcoal? Do I start the nugget then put in the charcoal, or start in with the charcoal in the starter
Answer:	I agree with M A S: I just load my chimney starter with charcoal, place the nugget on the grill charcoal grate, light it, and place the filled chimney on top. Within 15 - 25 minutes, you'll have hot charcoal, ready to cook!
Question:	are these safe for catalytic wood stoves
Answer:	The nuggets are basically wood shavings and wax, shaped into a half round, that are used to start the fire ie instead of say paper. It should work but I would check on the side of your stove to see if it is listed. Hope this helps.
Question:	Can these be used with a Kamado Joe ceramic grill
Answer:	Tina, I have a Kamado Joe and that is the reason for my purchasing the nuggets. They are amazing. One nugget is all you need to use. Build a small bed of hardwood charcoal, rest the nugget on it and then stack charcoal over the nugget. Light the nugget and cover with charcoal. If I am in a hurry, I sometimes use two nuggets. I cannot tell you how easy firing up my Joe is with these nuggets. I do not know if anyone has advised you, but I find removing the ash hopper lets more air in and my Joe heats up more quickly. I heartily recommend the Lightning Nuggets. Happy grilling. Ken

Answer:	No, I put them in alarmed tupeewRe because the box was making a mess. But they are amazing we use them indoor and for firepit.
