Answer:	Yes, the sections of the bars are difficult to break so I usually put the whole block in a plastic bag and lay the block on a right-angled surface(I use my deck railing) and smack one section off at a time with a hammer. Don't give up with the mice not eating it. If they have nothing else to eat they will find the bars. Sometimes it takes persistence until they are hungry. Good luck with it. I have to say my bars work!!

I honestly could not be happier with the quality and effectiveness of these traps. SO worth the extra money to not deal with snapping/glue traps, poison, etc. Probably the most humane as well.

Answer:	No, it does not. When the mice/rats eat the stuff, they feel ill it seems and hide in their holes/dens, then later when the symptoms get bad, they have sometimes come out and died in the open, but sometimes I can tell they died in their holes. Either way, they die. And when stuff dies, it decays, and decay doesn't smell nice. The poison doesn't change how decay works.

Answer:	Yes, I have used this with pets in my yard, but I took great care in insuring that my animals could not get to the pellets and eat them. I have on occasion found dead mice in the yard. My dogs did not try to play with or eat the dead mice, but I'm sure that depends on the dog.

Answer:	Yes. This can be used inside the home. You can sprinkle the granules anywhere in the home where you feel the mice travel instead of the whole bag. This is how I used the bait when I had it. I put it down and let it sit for a couple of days. I saw no traces of mice after the first night I put it out. I also sprinkled some outside around the house. If you have children don't use it in this manner, they could mistake it for candy.

Answer:	There will always be the stench of a decaying mouse no mater what you use to kill it. And yes, if it dies in the walls somewhere, you are likely to smell the odor. No escaping this short of using ONLY snap traps and monitoring them daily and removing the dead mice immediately.

Answer:	This stuff will work on anything that eat. Just make sure pets can't get to it, and also put on rubber gloves when you handle this stuff.
