Answer:	The bags are not resealable that being said they are Mylar bags so you can heat seal them if you need to.

So anyone saying that opening the bucket lid lowers the shelf life to 1 year is lying.

Answer:	Each pouch is a "meal" which consists of 2 or so "servings". Not looking at the pouch as I type but there is typically 2 servings to every pouch. So you're getting 600 calories per meal, in this case, which is about right. One of the things I like about MH is that they are STARTING to come around to using "meal" rather than "serving". Needless to say a MH meal is or will be too much for some people and too little for others. However, other emergency meal vendors are sticking to "serving" when describing their quantities. That, as you have observed is SERIOUSLY confusing. With MH it's "one and done". With their cans it's a bit different but workable. With other vendors it's multiple pouches and leftovers. Especially Wise. Another thing is comparing the costs between pouches (meals) and cans (serving). MOST of the time you will find pouches are cheaper than cans per serving. That is subject to change, so check ALL THE TIME!

Answer:	YES, they can. I put a packet in the freezer and held it there for two days, then let it thaw, then repeated the process. No leaks! Important to me because I carry packets in my off road vehicle in freezing temps. I needed confidence that the H2O I kept for just in case would be usable despite several freezing / thawing cycles.

Answer:	I went camping to try out my $3 emergency blanket, thinner and cheaper than this...twice. it wasn't comfortable, . In 55f, I got pretty warm, to warm actually, and had to switch to my regular bag... But when I went in winter, around 28f. I sleeped in my clothes. Uncomfortable, but wasn't that cold. Emergency sleeping bags and Regular work differently. Athough both help keep your body heat, the method is similar, yet different. They don't rate emerging sleeping bags I'm guessing because regular sleeping bags use instalation material, which is easier you rate how much it helps keep body heat and works by useing certain material and certain density... (what material and how density depending if they make a summer bag 50f , or winter bag30f , cheap and bid or high end, small and lightweight. Wide range in all categories. But basically it's a thick barrier between you and cold. The emergency sleeping bags/ foil type help keep you warm by refecting your body heat back... a barrier yes, but not thick. These also do not breath, and in some cases, can get to hot (I was sweating when I tried it 55f) I haven't tested this one yet, but I feel it'll be ok in an emergency.

A couple chips and my head goes numb. I will also add that my package came with rice in separate packages and rice needs salt. It was all surprisingly good and I was surprised because some of the premixed things like stews tend to taste awful IMHO. You could put some sauce packages up with it and some seasonings and it really makes superior food for emergencies or any other time. This is actually one of my favorite emergency and backpacking supplies.

Answer:	I received this "Wise" kit yesterday. Their info is misleading. No way is the junk goumet and all total each serving may be 50 calories. I put bucket and all on digital scale and it did not even register any weight so I weigh with it and then without out and the total weight including bucket is 6 pounds 0 ounces. I tried to try one. Followed directions exactly. You would get better taste and nutrition if you boiled the box it came in.It is about 50 calories per serving. You have to eat the whole bucket to get enough calories for one person.The total calories of the whole group of crap I would not eat. Gave the tiny little re hydrated pieces of meat to my dogs reluctantly and they would not eat the rice either. You will have another kind of emergency if you try to depend on this. Buy anything else. Slim Jim Jerky, Ramon Noodles, Vienna Sausage..I may try a different brand but this one is NOT going to help if you need eatable food with calories.

Answer:	If you stay at home when you sleep, you should be protected. Personally, I have found that flatulence repels bears better than anything else. My wife was skeptical, but I pointed out that there was not one bear sighted in our neighborhood. Consume eggs, beer, and lots of beans, then crawl inside the sleeping bag and fart away. Answer:	1.25 mm, or 0.05 inches, 1/20 of an inch thick (I stacked 3 sets together then took off a knife the come up with 8 utensils together being 1 cm thick, measured with a yard stick.) It is stainless steel and rigid. If you are trying to cut thick, tough meat the knife will be a little uncomfortable but otherwise the set is fine.

Answer:	Hi BB,Thanks for asking. Unfortunately i would not suggest the Grab n Go breakfast because there is a slight risk. Here is a copy of the Granola ingredients. At the very end you will see that the product was made in a factory that produced nut products. I know from firsthand that is enough to cause a reaction. Sorry for the bad news. Answer:	All soy sauce that is called Tamari is gluten free. The only reason soy sauce is not gluten free in most cases is that the manufacturer adds wheat to otherwise gluten free soy. Dumb, I know.

Answer:	You need about 1 cup of water per serving, so 4 cups for one pouch.

Question:	If packages are of 4 serving size, how do you prepare it for one person, does that mean whole the contents are no longer shelf stable
Answer:	Many of our customers will reconstitute the whole pouch while others will just reconstitute a portion. Those who only use part of a pouch will use a bag tie or Ziplock to store the remainder. Once opened the contents of the pouch will still be good for a while.

Answer:	Our product, as listed, states: "Wise Company Product Code W01-184. MFG Date between 6/5/2012 & 2/7/2013. Up to 25 year shelf life. Only a few left in stock." Very few sellers list the Manufacture date, or the Expiration date of the products they are trying to sell. Thanks for your question.
