If needed, I would buy these again. :D

Answer:	No it is NOT Dishwasher safe in my experience - even when put on the top rack of the Dishwasher. Both the plate and the bowl bent out of shape after going thru their first ever wash cycle.

Polypropylene should be bisphenol A (BPA) free because BPA is not used in the synthesis of polypropylene. However, lexan (a polycarbonate which is usually synthesized from BPA and phosgene) would likely not be BPA free.

Answer:	The coating on this looks durable, but its not. After 4 camping trips, the rims of the cups and plates are all heavily chipped and rusted. I bought the blue set with silver rim at the same time and they are as new as the day I bought them.

Answer:	I have no knowledge of where they are made, but having used them for two years now at scouting events and camps I can report that they have performed very well and only have on chip on one plate to this point. Certainly worth the price paid.

Answer:	The spoons are a little bigger than your average teaspoon. The plates are stainless steel but I don't think the silverware is. It's a great little set. I keep mine in our car all the time. It is great for traveling. If you want to have a picnic, eat in a hotel room, or have leftovers on the road. We have saved a lot of money having this a round. A small sample size of dish liquid fits in it for washing up.
