Answer:	The chain length is adjustable and the tripod is of good quality. The only thing about the tripod is it is too short for a good campfire. I cured that by buying a 10ft length of iron pipe the legs would fit into. I cut the pipe in 1/3s, inserted each tripod leg in the pipe equal distances, drilled and pinned them. It works great now.
