Answer: | I'm only 71 inches, so I cant be 100 % certain. My bag will touch the bottom. The tent is fairly roomy, so I don't touch the sides unless my pack is in the tent with me. The rain fly is awesome and should keep everything inside dry, even if something is touching the sides. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this vestibule close on all sides so that you could use it for additional sleeping |
Answer: | I wear mine all the time. Warm enough for cold weather, but not too warm for warm weather. Obviously not something you would want to wear on the hottest day of the year, though. |
Question: | How many people fit in this tent |
Answer: | not as wide as I needed I order the half size larger as I normally do to get shoes that are wide enoung but no go. I could tel as soon as I put them on with regular socks that they were to narrow and to long. This seems to be the trend that shoe sizes are getting listed as wider but the shoe is a full size narrower then say 20 years ago. 2E should be fine for me nut not I am ordering 3Eand dreaming about shoes that re not to long so that they are wide enough. |
Question: | Can i use it for backpacking how many pounds is it |
Answer: | Yes. My husband is a size 10.5, and that's what we ordered. They fit him perfectly. |
Question: | Are there doors on both sides of the vestibule |
Answer: | You're going to want to sun dry them for several hours. Lets say it takes 6 after 3 hours put fabric softner sheets in the front like 2 or 3 each. Also it would be good to wash them. Let them sit in a bucket of warm water with some non damaging soap (use a old toothbrush to clean the nooks and crannies). This process takes 1.5 days one day to clean .5 to dry. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this the tent with the built in lights |
Answer: | Ruth, my experience is the same as the previous comment the boots are true to size and I allow a half size greater to accomodate thick wool socks. If your intended use is similar take note. If not, then order true to your size 7 womens which, according to an online chart is equivalent to a mens 5 1/2. |
Question: | Why is this listed as 6lbs? The UL2 is supposed to be 2 lbs 8oz packed weight |
Answer: | Tall and comfortable |
Question: | I see the footprint is not included but Is the rainfly included with the tent itself |
Answer: | No, they do not have the orange inside, other than that they appear to be the same. |
Question: | How wide is the base, or floor, of the tent |
Answer: | The short answer to this question is, "It depends." Here is the long answer: 1. These boots have a composite toe, so that area at least should be protected from just about anything. On the other hand, you can't encourage a snake to bite you in a particular place. 2. Non-venomous snakes native to the US could not penetrate the rubber part. Large pit vipers (venomous snakes), on the other hand, probably could penetrate the rubber, and definitely could penetrate the neoprene upper. 3. I have walked by venomous snakes in these boots, and my mindset was that they would NOT protect me. I was very careful where I stepped and I was fine. The best policy is avoidance. The second best policy is to watch where you step. Usually, if you leave snakes alone, they will almost certainly leave you alone. Of course, you can never be too careful, hence, you should avoid venomous snakes if you can. 4. Personally, I would not (and don't) trust these boots to protect from venomous snake bites. If you are super worried about this, you can buy snake chaps. All this was just a long way of saying: for non-venomous snakes, these boots will be fine. For venomous snakes, I highly recommend NOT trusting these boots. Generally, though, if you're aware of where you're stepping you should be fine. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do you get both the wood chuck and soul kitchen tables |
Answer: | Big Agnes changed the design for 2020, so the footprint you're looking for is unavailable from the manufacturer and has been sold out for almost a year. Your best bet is going to be to try to find a used one, or you can make a custom footprint out of Tyvek. If you decide to go the Tyvek route, there are a couple companies out there that are currently making them as well. |
Question: | What are the setup dimensions of the medium and the large |
Answer: | No. It’s too small. You need the footprint designed specifically for the 3 person version. It also need to be the current version of the tent or the new 3p footprint won’t fit. Campman support |
Question: | Can you use it with a coleman type stove, or will the top melt |
Answer: | Easy to inflate, but be warned that this is a “noisy” sleeping pad that wakes up a light sleeper every time one moves or turns over. After one week-end I gave mine away. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this for the olive color pictured |
Answer: | I really don't know the answer to this question. I recently purchased this tent and I couldn't be happier. It's exactly what I wanted, it's easy to erect, and take-down, it's light-weight and rugged. I don't know how they would improve the model I purchased. |
Question: | How many tent stakes come with this tent |
Answer: | Fly and floor are silicone treated proprietary ultralight double rip-stop mixed denier nylon with 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating the Tent body is proprietary ultralight double rip-stop mixed denier nylon breathable and polyester mesh |
Question: | I know it’s listed as 86” long but would I touch the sides if I’m 77” tall with a bag and 3” pad |
Answer: | No it is not. I have this tent and really like it but there are no lights that come with it. |
Question: | Is this tent good for winter camp |
Answer: | I think it is either a typo or it ships in a really heavy box. MEC lists the weight as 1.13 kg = 2.4 pounds. https://www.mec.ca/en/product/5059-409/Tiger-Wall-UL-2-Person-Tent I have the UL 3 tent and it weighs 1.33kg = 2.93 pounds. If you plan on putting 2 people in the tent, I would highly recommend the UL 3 instead of the UL 2. I put my two sleeping mats into the UL 3 and there is not much space left over. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Which version of this tent it the latest? you list two copper spur hv ul3 tents here - one mentions 2019 version and one does not mention |
Answer: | The cot lite takes about four minutes to assemble, from bag to fully set up. Breaking it back down again takes a little longer if you plan on packing it all away neatly. |
Question: | Is this tent seam sealed already |
Answer: | It will badly rip pinholes in the floor in true wilderness camping (I weigh 150 lbs). Although in campgrounds, I've had a few weeks of use and the tent was fine. I spent just one night in Shenandoah NP on a rough backcountry site (one reason to use a cot, no?) and had to repair about ten small pinholes in my almost new MSR Hubba Hubba tent despite using a Tyvec groundcloth. So, I've just ordered 2" velcro and matching 1/4" felt pads to see if I can make that work, hoping make the pads removable for packing. I expect to hot melt glue the female velcro to the bottom of the cot feet and simply paste the male velcro to the felt pads. |
Question: | Is this 2020 Edition |
Answer: | The cot set up is 72.8"x23.6"x5.1". It is 2.8 lbs packed and 2.6lbs in the frame and skin. Please let us know if you have any more questions. Give us a call and we'll be happy to help. 801-999-8117.ChrisCampman |
Question: | what was the weight of this tent without shipping materials |
Answer: | Use your bodyweight! It's a lot easier with the cot on its side rather than flipped over. This thing is stiff, I'm 6' and nearly 200 pounds, and I was scared of breaking it but I didn't get the hang of it till I put more of my bodyweight on it with one side on the ground. Good luck! |
